Another big year in the community, heaps of walks, new dogs joining the crew, muddy paws, river loops and a few too many treats.

Thanks to everyone who’s supported my small business and trusted me with their dogs, I really do appreciate it.

I wrapped up my uni degree this year as well, so I’m planning to spend next year having plenty of fun before I take the next steps.

I’m back mid January, ready for another year of walks, routines and happy dogs.

Merry Christmas and I look forward to seeing you all in a few weeks ✌🏾

In the lead-up to the busy holiday period, I want to remind everyone about responsible dog ownership.

Brisbane is a dog-friendly city, and that means making sure our pets don’t become a nuisance to neighbours through loneliness, stress or boredom.

Excessive or nuisance barking is something every owner is responsible for managing.

When most people are away from home for longer periods over the holidays, it’s important to ensure dogs are not distressed or bored, which can lead to ongoing barking.

Barking is a normal behaviour, but if your dog is regularly left alone, consider speaking with neighbours about any barking concerns.

If you’re travelling, please ensure your dog isn’t left unattended and is properly cared for.

It’s also worth letting neighbours know your plans so they can help keep an eye out for your pet.
