These little bundles of joy are growing so quickly, and in just over a week they'll be starting the next chapter with their forever families.

Over the coming days, they'll be having their first crate training experiences, a bath and simple grooming introductions. Every step helps build confidence and supports a smoother transition into family life.

For now, enjoy these happy puppy zoomies and stay tuned as we prepare these gorgeous pups for their big move home.

Our little highway baby - Thaddeus a.k.a Goldie!

One week ago this gorgeous golden boy made quite the entrance, arriving while we were travelling along the Golden Grove Highway. We almost named him Goldie, but with parents Ted and Daisy we wanted to keep our T & D naming theme going.

So while he has his official name now, he'll always be "Goldie" to me ✨

Just one week ago we could see every tiny rib on his little body. Now he's round, content, and thriving thanks to Daisy's wonderful care. Watching these precious newborns grow never gets old ♥️

One week old today for Daisy & Ted's beautiful Labradoodle babies

It's been a quiet week as Daisy settles into motherhood and her milk supply establishes. The puppies are feeding well, gaining weight beautifully and spending their days doing what newborn puppies do best — sleeping, cuddling and growing ✨

We're already starting to see some lovely rich caramel tones emerging, and we're excited to watch their colours continue to develop over the coming weeks. All puppies in this litter are expected to have beautiful fleece coats, which are loved for their soft texture and easy-care nature 🤍

People are often surprised by just how similar these beautiful dogs can be

Both are loved for their affectionate natures, intelligence and gorgeous low-shedding coats — and both can make incredible family companions when thoughtfully bred and raised with care 🤍

At the end of the day, health, temperament and early socialisation matter far more than the label alone

We’ve loved chatting lately with families following along with Daisy & Ted’s newest litter too.

Our mini Groodles had their health checks, vaccinations and microchips done this week at Modbury Veterinary Clinic

And honestly… shameless plug incoming....

We absolutely ❤️ LOVE the team there

From the vets to the nurses and front staff, they are always so kind, patient and genuinely caring with both our dogs and puppies. It makes such a difference handing over babies you adore knowing they’re in such lovely hands 🤍

The puppies were thoroughly checked over, cuddled by half the clinic staff and handled so beautifully throughout the whole visit 🐾

We’re incredibly grateful to have such a supportive vet team beside us and truly couldn’t recommend them more highly

Thank you again to everyone at Modbury Vet Clinic for taking such wonderful care of our babies ✨

Today Boots headed off for her post-puppy check-up and to complete the paperwork for us to begin infusing our Cavoodles into the MDBA Theodore register.

This is something we’ve been quietly working toward behind the scenes and feels like a very exciting next step for us. Our focus has always been on raising beautiful companion dogs with health, temperament, and transparency at the centre of what we do, and we’re proud to now be beginning this journey through the MDBA framework.

For those unfamiliar, Theodore dogs are part of a developing companion breed program through the MDBA, with a focus on consistency, temperament, structure, and ethical breeding practices. We’re excited to continue learning and growing as part of this process.

As part of joining the MDBA, we’ve also been approved for our prefix, Douglas Hills. The name holds a lot of meaning for us — “Douglas” is a family name, while “Hills” reflects our love of the hills and the place where we first started our Oodle journey. Fittingly, our newest Labradoodle boy is also being named Douglas 🐾

The best part of today was bringing Boots home to her puppies. They were absolutely beside themselves with excitement to see mum walk back through the door — wagging tails, little jumps for cuddles, and straight in for a feed once everyone settled back in together.

One little boy from the litter, Rossi, is still waiting for his perfect family and soaking up every bit of love and attention in the meantime 🤎

A special day for us and one we’re so happy to share as we begin this new chapter.

Welcome to our new litter from Daisy & Ted ❤️

Please welcome Theodore, Duke, Douglas, Tate, Tiver, Thaddeus, Teddi-Rose, Daisie-Mae and Dolly.

They are all doing so well!

The puppies have now started their ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) and ESI (Early Scent Introduction) exercises ✨

These gentle early exercises are designed to support confidence, resilience and early development during the newborn stage, while also introducing tiny positive experiences in a safe and supported way 🤍

It’s always amazing watching how quickly these little babies grow and develop over the first few weeks of life 🐾

Our toy Cavoodles turn 5 weeks old tomorrow

Tiny tails wagging constantly, playful little zoomies, discovering toys, following us around and then suddenly falling asleep in little puppy piles.

Their personalities are becoming more obvious every day — the cuddly ones, the confident ones, the sweet little observers.

Over the coming weeks we’ll begin early temperament observations to help thoughtfully guide each family.

They really are growing up so quickly already
