ALFRED is making LANDFALL! Tropical Cyclone ALFRED appears to be making landfall over Stradbroke Island, as a Category 1 system. Damaging to possibly destructive winds and plenty of heavy rain are being carted over areas West and South West of the centre - which is spreading into East Brisbane, Redlands, parts of the Scenic Rim and large parts of the Gold Coast. ALFRED is forecast to continue moving through Stradbroke Island and into Moreton Bay over the next several hours!
