I’m Codie Joy and I’m a veterinary nurse. I have been surrounded by animals my whole life and have been studying them for many years. I hold a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, Certificate IV in Companion Animal Services and have completed multiple short courses for animal behaviour, health and nutrition. I have also worked with unusual animals which has given me the opportunity to experience different scenarios with some of our local wildlife. I have cared for joey kangaroos, native Australian birds such as owls, lorikeets and galahs, as well as handling reptiles such as snakes, lizards and frogs! I have a very keen interest in exotic animals and reptiles. In addition to my professional experience, I have owned many pets throughout my lifetime and currently own a diverse range of animals. Feel free to ask me about them, I love to share photos and stories of all my pets! Due to my extensive experience and knowledge, I can assure you that your pet will receive the best of care and love while you are away.
Working with animals is something I am very passionate about and it is something I plan on doing for the rest of my life!
