Common Tree Snake!

Tree snakes are non-venomous and actually great to have around — they help control pests like frogs and small rodents. This little one was safely captured and relocated to suitable bushland away from homes and pets.

Even baby snakes can give a fright, but remember:

Tonight, I was awakened by our dog, who alerted us to the presence of a magnificent Diamond Python in our yard. Our dog merely barked at the snake, preventing its escape until I could attend to it. I conducted a thorough examination of the snake to confirm that it was uninjured. Initially, the snake was visibly frightened and defensive when I captured it, likely intimidated by the presence of our dog. However, upon release, it became remarkably calm and seemed grateful to be extricated from that situation.
