Here in Toowoomba, we might not get snow, but those chilly winter mornings can be tough on our furry friends! Here's when your pup definitely needs that extra layer:
🐕 Dogs Who Need Coats Most:
• Small breeds (under 10kg) - they lose heat faster
• Short-haired breeds like Greyhounds, Whippets, French Bulldogs
• Senior dogs (7+ years) - their circulation isn't as strong
• Puppies under 6 months - still developing temperature regulation
• Dogs with health conditions like arthritis
❄️ Signs Your Dog is Cold:
• Shivering or trembling
• Seeking warm spots indoors
• Reluctant to go outside
• Lifting paws off cold surfaces
• Curling up in a tight ball
