Congratulations to Katy for earning her AKC S.A.F.E. Certification!

With pet grooming being an unregulated industry, it's so important for stylists to show dedication to both the craft and the care towards the pets entrusted with us. Earning and maintaining certifications as well as seeking to continue our education as pet professionals is a foundation of our ethics as a business and as individual stylists.

There is so much more to pet grooming than a haircut; safety, anatomy, humane handling techniques, and sanitation are just a few facets of what we do.

We are so proud of Katy taking steps to broaden her knowledge and proving dedication to providing safe and compassionate care to every pet she works with! ❤️

Those of us at Solana's want to take a moment to recognize and highlight our newest team member, who many of our clients have already met and love.

Katy, our newest groomer, joined us a couple months ago and has become such a valuable member of our grooming team. Before coming to us, Katy was a bather for a couple years at a wonderful local salon and developed a strong foundation in the salon environment. Since starting her apprenticeship, her skills have really shined with many different breeds and needs.

We want to thank our wonderful clients who have trusted us as a whole and Katy individually as she develops her skills throughout her apprenticeship with us.
