Good day !! Been awhile between our posts recently however we’re been flat out not everything we do makes it to Facebook ..on a good note our recent 2x girls Molly and Polly have found a wonderful home both girls were a dream to have around witch made them prefect candidates for a loving family 🏡

Our 2 x medical cases where been dealing with since may are starting to make a complete recovery … these 2 x girls i would love to adopt out however they are not very social !! can only be housed together & they do not like to be cuddled despite all our attempts to get them use to people .. would take a very special family with a lot of patience and love to give .. until then they are welcome To stay as long as need .. all enquires about them feel free to message !

Been a very busy day this evening we opened our doors to Molly & Polly 2x beautiful girls that were in need of a new home listed as giveaway .. owner was nice enough to also allow us to have there cage witch always help out .. there been moved to our quarantine area , will update how they settle in over next few days !

Question answer time !! Why do we have quarantine area ?? Well that’s an easy one incoming guineapigs can sometimes harbour unwanted medical issues ..to keep our guineapigs save we keep new piggies away from residents ones until they are 100% safe to join the rest of the piggies or be adopted out

Did you know often people will refuse vet care for a Guineapig Yes you read that right !! most people say they can’t justify spending that type of money on such a small pet 🤯

Below are a list of average vet costs & treatments for guinea pigs in NSW

Consultation: $90 - $150 (Standard vet ) or $150 - $200+ (Exotic Specialist)

Desexing Surgery: $200 - $600

Dental Work & Extractions: $500 - $1,500+

Sick Visits & Diagnostics: $300 - $600

Euthanasia: $150 - $250+

The list is very long and expensive something everyone should consider .

Introducing Fergus and Sherlock our resident who have been with us for a very long time .. for those of you who have been to visit you would have most likely had cuddles with one of these 🤭 as they just love the attention .. did you know there hair can grow to 8 to 10 inches and requires a lot of grooming & trimming in the summer time

Introducing eyebrow & chalet these beautiful babies came into us from a very much loved family who dropped them out witch were very much grateful for .. the mother piggy was bought from a pet shop with a little surprises bundle inside .. the little boy has been paired off with our boy neo he finally has a little friend of his own after a long wait .. happy to report there getting along beautifully.. the little girl has been put in with coco who has taken her under her wing 🪽 there will be a lot of updates on these little ones as they grow 😊
