The First Glimpse 🌾
There’s nothing quite like the joy of seeing those first green shoots breaking through the soil — our oats are germinating beautifully! 🙌
This is the very start of what will one day be golden/ green hay stacked in our sheds and yours, feeding livestock and fueling our passion for the land.
The ground still holds good moisture, and with showers forecast this weekend and Monday, we’re hopeful for even more green across the paddocks and continued strong germination across the farm 🌧️🌱
It’s moments like these that remind us why we do what we do — William did a phenomenal job seeding!

As each day passes, the sun dips and sets just a little earlier—reminding us that the winter solstice is near. There’s a quiet beauty in these shorter days, especially when we take a moment to pause and look around 🌅
The paddocks, which not long ago were almost bare, are now showing fresh green shoots thanks to the rain over the past few weeks. It’s a simple thing, but it brings so much joy—to see the land coming back to life.
We love what we do out here. Even in the cooler months, there’s something peaceful about working the farm, watching the seasons shift, and being part of it all 🤠

We had the pleasure of loading this happy client with 2 Bale Baron packs — always a great feeling seeing those bales roll out! 🚜💪
An added bonus we got an unexpected 8mm of rain Saturday night/ Sunday morning. It might not sound like much, but after weeks of dry, dusty paddocks, it’s a very welcome change. The ground’s finally showing a bit of moisture instead of just kicking up clouds of dust — and that’s a sight for sore eyes! 🌱
Here’s to more gentle showers and green paddocks ahead! 🙌🌦️

There’s something seriously satisfying about a perfectly loaded trailer — and this load was one for the books! 💙
This blue beauty is carrying 4 baron packs (that’s 84 small square bales), all pre-ordered and ready to go. It’s like the trailer was made for them — not an inch of space wasted, everything just slotted in like a dream 💭
We used the mega claw grabber to lift 21 bales at a time, making the job not just efficient, but also enjoyable. It’s a real treat when everything comes together this smoothly — perfectly sized bales, perfectly sized trailer, and a tidy load at the end of the day 👌

Well, it looks like someone couldn’t wait for breakfast! 🐂
This cheeky bull snuck up to the hay feeder and helped himself to a big mouthful of delicious silage before I could even get the chance to feed it out!
Then he pulled a funny face while I watched him eat 😛🤦‍♂️ Guess he’s got a real taste for it! 🌾
