What an end to 2019💫 Chocolate Lad and myself competed in our very first 1* at the ODE. With a 3rd in dressage with lots of positive comments.✨ With 2 unlucky rails sitting us mid field on Saturday. Sunday we kicked some goals getting around the cross county course with a few green moments. Very happy with my boy and how he performed over the weekend. Bring on 2020 ❤️

Couldn’t be happier with how Chocolate Lad performed over the weekend with his best run cross country at Fig Tree Pocket ODE.
With a dressage score of 71.05% sitting us in first place on Saturday, with an unlucky rail in the showjumping and a clear cross country placing us 4th in a competitive field in the EvA95B❣️

Captain Dodge is a very handsome 5yo, 16.1hh gelding whose got breeding to back him up. Sired by Captain Sonador and out of Slide.

Dodge is still looking for his new home to continue on with. No fault of his own. Good to catch, float, trim, etc. Priced to sell.

Dodge has three straightforward paces and a scopey jump. Currently training novice movements and has been starting laterals with a great attitude. He has a scopey jump, is brave and honest, training 1m-1.05. He is still fairly green, needs guidance and confidence.

Dodge has been out to two local jump nights under lights and was an absolute pleasure and took everything in his stride, getting compliments all night. He recently has been to two show jump days and jumped his socks off. Currently competing 90cm.

Dodge has a great temperament and is a perfect gentleman. Ready to move up the grades. I believe he’ll make a competitive horse in show jumping ring as he has a scopey jump and doesn’t want to knock rails. He will excel in other disciplines with the right rider. Dodge is a green and sensitive boy so he needs a soft, gentle and confident rider.

Massive weekend at TEG Steelworks Construction EvQ International Three Day Event🐴

LaRouge took out 5th place out of a competitive field in the EvA95A. From 7th after dressage, a clear cross country run! Her first ODE this year! 4th after CrossCountry, with an unlucky rail in showjumping, finishing 5th overall✨ Very proud of my beautiful girl🌹

Chocolate Lad received a 77.89% from one judge in his dressage test, putting him in 2nd place🌟 cross county was one of his best rounds until he showed that he is still a young horse and gets distracted.

Overall a very productive and successful weekend as I also received best and fairest award!🌟

✨Fig Tree Pocket ODE✨

What a wet weekend! We walked away with some things to work on, our dressage phase had some minor errors although Chocolate Lad looked stunning🤩 Going onto the Cross-Country phase, Chocolate Lad was on his toes. With a learning curve to ride every single jump! The showjumping was one of his best rounds, pulling out some beautiful shapes! Might be time to move up🐴
