Please take note of our opening hours for this long weekend:
FRIDAY 3rd October 8:00AM – 7:00PM
SATURDAY 4th October 9:00AM – 1:00PM
SUNDAY 5th October CLOSED
MONDAY 6th October CLOSED
TUESDAY 7th October 8:00AM – 7:00PM

Please ensure you have enough pet food and medication to get through the long weekend.
A reminder that medication refills need to be checked by a vet before being ordered from the supplier and dispensed, so please give the clinic a few days' notice before running out 💊

Another reminder to check that your pets tick prevention is up to date - please call the clinic if you have questions about your pets tick prevention cover. They are definitely out and about! 🪳

Whilst we are closed, please contact the lovely teams at Northside Emergency Clinic in Terrey Hills or SASH in Balgowlah if you have questions or your pet needs to see a vet. 🩵
Please understand they may have longer than normal wait times as they support the load of emergencies whilst most clinics are closed.
They are both open 24/7 and can be contacted on 9452 2933 (NEVS) and 9875 0000 (SASH).

🐾 "Excuse me, I have an appointment!" 🐾

Meet Bear, our very handsome Ridgeback who decided to check himself in at reception! 😍🐶 With paws up and ears on full alert, Bear wasn’t taking any chances on missing his visit.

Whether it's a routine check-up or just a few extra treats from the team, we’re always happy to see our furry friends walk through the door (even if they do try to run the place).

❄️⛷ Christmas in July, Après-Ski Style! 🎄🏔

Our team swapped scrubs for ski gear last night for a fabulous Christmas in July, hosted by the legends at NEVS (our amazing local after hours clinic)! 💙

Dressed to theme in fluffy coats, snow hats and the brightest retro ski jumpsuits you’ve ever seen (Dr Peter & Dr Natasha won best dressed! 💃🕺), we had an absolute blast!
A night full of laughs, fantastic food, and catching up with fellow vet teams — the kind of fun that warms you up from the inside out. 🧣❄️

Big thanks to NEVS for bringing everyone together! ⛄️🎉

Welcome Dr Lara to the team! 🩺🐾

We’re so excited to introduce Dr Lara, our newest vet here at the clinic! After graduating from Sydney Uni in December 2022, Lara has been working as a small animal vet with a growing passion for surgery. 👩‍⚕️✂️🐶

Originally from a farm before making the move to Sydney, Lara brings a wonderful mix of country heart and city smarts to her work.

When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll find her spending time with her two pups, Freddie and George, hitting the gym or Pilates studio, or enjoying live music events! 🎶💪🐕

We’re thrilled to have her on board — be sure to say hi next time you’re in if you haven't already had the pleasure of seeing her!

Say hello to Jess – our new trainee vet nurse! 🐾🩺
Jess is currently studying vet nursing at TAFE and has joined our team with an amazing background in animal care. She’s worked previously in the marine mammal area of Taronga Zoo & volunteered with the Australian Wildlife Walkabout Park, and even spent two years as a dedicated dog walker! 🐶💚

With a lifelong passion for helping animals, vet nursing was the perfect path — and we’re thrilled to have her on board.
When she’s not in the clinic, Jess loves camping, 4x4 adventures, and cuddles with her beautiful Golden Retriever, Luca 🏕️🚙🐕

🐾 Poppy's Pirate Tale: One Eye, Infinite Courage 🐾

Meet Poppy! Recently, she faced a tough challenge after an unfortunate encounter with a ute on the family farm, leading to severe trauma in one of her eyes. Despite our best efforts to save it, the eye wasn't improving, and Poppy was already adapting well with vision from her remaining eye. We made the compassionate decision to proceed with enucleation (eye removal surgery), and we're thrilled to report that the procedure went smoothly.

Post-surgery, Poppy has been an absolute trooper! She's had her stitches removed and is back to her playful self, enjoying farm life and the company of her furry friends. Her resilience is a testament to the fact that dogs can lead happy, fulfilling lives even after such procedures.

We’re so proud of Poppy and grateful to her family for their trust in our care. Her story is a heart-warming reminder of the strength and adaptability of our beloved pets.

🐾 Meet Timmy the Terrier! 🐾

Timmy was in the clinic for his desexing procedure and was an absolute champ! He was calm, brave, and even brought along his favourite toy for some extra comfort. 🧸💕

We’re so proud of how well Timmy handled everything – he definitely earned all the extra cuddles when his pawrents arrived to take him home! 🐶❤️
