This kind of review is why we kept going.

DOGLOC took longer to make than we expected. Not because we wanted it to. Because every time we thought we were close, it still was not good enough. The design, the materials, the way it worked in real life. Until it met our standards, we could not move forward.

We were not willing to settle for something that only looked good, or something that only felt secure on paper. It had to do both. It had to be easy to use, genuinely safe, and considered in every detail.

So when customers say they feel real peace of mind using it, and that they notice the quality and care in how it is made, that matters to us.

We did not set out to design a “secure” dog lead. We set out to design the one we wished already existed.
Because when your dog is your world, good enough is not good enough.
Between us, we have tried just about every lead out there. Every one of them asked for a compromise somewhere. Ugly but strong. Nice looking but flimsy. Secure but stressful to use.
That was never going to work for us.
So DOGLOC started with a few non negotiables.
It had to keep our dogs genuinely safe, even in those few seconds when your back is turned. It had to be effortless to use in real life. And it had to look beautiful doing it.
Security did not have to look secure. But it did have to perform.
That is why DOGLOC is built as a complete system, not just a lead.
A lockable design that secures everything with one key. A hidden steel core that is bite and knife resistant. An openable handle so you can clip your dog anywhere without fumbling, unclipping, or looping. A full grain leather exterior that ages beautifully instead of wearing out. A QR code tag you can update anytime. And accessories designed with the same level of care. Yes, even the p**p bag holder.
Nothing about this was accidental.
We worked with Outerspace, a world class product design agency, to achieve the highest possible standard, both functionally and visually. The result is a product recognised with a Good Design Award, and one that simply did not exist before.
DOGLOC comes as a set because separating safety from style never made sense to us. It is premium because it is doing more. And because peace of mind, when it comes to your dog, matters.

He’ll be the face you see in a lot of our content, mostly because he’s very cute and absolutely insists on being involved in everything. Very hands-on. No boundaries. HR nightmare.

But Banjo isn’t here just to look good (though… wow).
He’s also the reason DOGLOC exists.

DOGLOC was never about making “another dog product.” It was born out of that deep, slightly unhinged love you have for your dog - the kind where they’re not a pet, they’re family. The kind where leaving them tied up outside for a quick coffee doesn’t feel casual, it feels stressful. The kind where you want to bring them everywhere, but also want peace of mind when life happens.

We made DOGLOC because we didn’t want to choose between living our lives and keeping our dogs safe. Because we believe dogs should come along for the ride - without the constant knot in your stomach.

So yes, Banjo will be modelling, testing, supervising and generally stealing the spotlight.
But more importantly, he’s a daily reminder of why we do this.
