Another gorgeous puppy makeover 😍💙

Little Caesar first came to us for a puppy tidy, we used positive reinforcement to desensitise him to all the grooming equipment, his owners also worked hard at home brushing and combing his coat to prevent any matting.
Now for his first groom he was an absolute star!

Setting puppies up for success with grooming starts early! The more good experiences and training they have while young, the more relaxed they will be when they are older.

❄️DSA Winter International Grooming Comp❄️

Well I certainly had my work cut out for me this comp with two very overgrown dogs!

In the AM I competed in Scissor Class with Lucy the Irish Water Spaniel, my first ever time grooming the breed!
🥇We won 1st Place Level A
🥇Best in Group

In the Pm I competed with the gorgeous Willow and I won
🥉3rd place in A level!

This comp was also my first competition as a member of the Dogs Australia Groom Team competing in a friendly match with the NZ Groom Team.
🏆 We won with a clean sweep winning 5/5 classes!

Grooms finished with Delta Grooming Scissors

🏆Sydney Royal Grooming Comp 🏆

This year I tackled my first ever bedlington trim in competition with Ted and we managed to pull off a 3rd place in A level Scissor Class!

Then in the afternoon I groomed Leonard, This was a special groom as Leonard is my girl willows dad! His first ever grooming competition and he handled it like an absolute pro!
I had my work cut out for me with the mountain of hair he had but I’m very happy to say we won 3rd place in level A Poodle Class!

I had a fantastic weekend at the AusGroom grooming competition.

🥇1st Place Masters Salon Freestyle with Ted.
🥇1st Place Masters Asian Fusion with Mochi. So proud of her, it was her first ever grooming comp and she did so well and loved all the attention!

🥉Best in Show 3rd with miss Mochi!

No placings for me with Secret the mini poodle but I’m very happy with my trim. It was nice to try a different trim in the poodle class.
