Easter Hours!

Hi everyone! I will not be doing house calls on Good Friday or Easter Saturday but I will be available for at-home euthanasia and pain-management on Easter Sunday and Easter Monday. As usual I hope you don't need me but I will be here. ###

Good Friday - no house-calls. Available for phone-consult.

Easter Sunday - available from 10am plus after-hours

After a dreamy summer spent living her best life with a pet sitter, local dog Peaches has officially returned home... only to discover the humans are back at work, kids are back to school, her sitter is nowhere to be seen. The house is quiet. Too quiet. Lonely, in fact.

Sources say Peaches is now wandering room to room, sighing dramatically, staring out the window, and reminiscing about beach walks, bonus cuddles, and someone being home all day.

Experts confirm it’s the exact same emotional crash humans experience after the holidays, except furrier and lonelier.

"I thought I’d be the one struggling post-holidays," the owner admitted. “But now it’s clear she needs more stimulation than just a cuddle at the end of the day. I have to either step up, or book her sitter for weekly walks or daycare so we can all emotionally recover.”

Twas the night before Christmas…

Keeping Your Pets Safe This Christmas 🎄🐾

🐾🐾Burn off energy early – Exercise pets before guests arrive to help them relax once the celebrations begin.
🐾🐾Create a calm retreat – Set up a quiet, safe space away from the party. Soft music or the TV can help mask noise.
🐾🐾No festive food sharing – Many Christmas foods are dangerous or even fatal for pets. Keep them well away from alcohol, chocolate, grapes, raisins, currants, cooked bones, ham, gravy, onion, macadamias, avocado, lollies, sugar-free gum and more.
🐾🐾Watch for warning signs – Vomiting, diarrhoea, excessive panting, breathing issues or muscle twitching can indicate poisoning. If in doubt, seek veterinary care immediately.
🐾🐾Decorate with care – Keep baubles, tinsel, lights and edible decorations out of reach to avoid choking, cuts or electric shock.
