We are desperately short of Hound Heroes (aka foster carers). Without our Hound Heroes opening their hearts and homes for greyhounds in need, we simply cannot do what we do.

Our friends at Cat Haven WA need your help!

🚨 We’re All Out of Towels! Can You Help? 🐾

With all the wet weather lately, our towel supply has completely run dry, and with so many cats in our care, we rely on clean, dry towels every single day. 💧🐱

From lining beds and drying off soggy kitties to cleaning up messes, towels are an absolute essential… and right now, we have none left!

If you have any clean, used towels (or new ones!) you can spare, please drop them off at Cat Haven. Every donation helps keep our cats warm, dry, and comfy.

Our next class starts on Saturday the 10th of may. Each class goes for one hour and runs for 4 weeks.

Learn about your puppy, teach some basic obedience and help your puppy meet some new furry friends in a safe and controlled environment. 😊

Which dog breed do you think should’ve made the top 10?!

We have a new top dog! For the first time in many years, a new breed claims first spot in the top 10 breeds, and a newcomer enters the top 10 as well.

Introducing your top 10 for 2024! 🏆🏅🐶

Changes from last year’s top 10, the Golden Retriever moves up to 1st place, with Labrador Retriever at 2nd, The Australian Shepherd takes 8th place, the Schnauzer (Miniature) claims 10th place, with the French Bulldog dropping out of the top 10.

Today, we celebrate our wonderful Vets Mark, Lucy, Arthur, Claire and Jo. Each day they work tirelessly to look after our pets, making sure that they are happy and healthy. We’re so lucky to have them apart of the SVH team! Thank you, for all that you do for us ❤️
