Two years ago today, this little black fluff butt came into our lives, and what an incredible journey it has been.

Who would have thought that one little ball of fluff could change our lives in so many ways? Inky has brought us endless love, laughter, friendship, and memories that we’ll cherish forever.

Because of Inky, we found a community that has welcomed us with open arms. A community full of passionate, knowledgeable and genuinely kind people who have encouraged us every step of the way. We’ve been supported through the highs, picked up through the lows, celebrated in our successes, and reminded that we’re never alone on this journey.

We have been incredibly lucky to have people who have shared their knowledge, offered advice, answered countless questions, cheered us on from the sidelines, trusted us with their beautiful dogs, and believed in us even when we doubted ourselves. The friendships we’ve made and the village we’ve built around us are something we will never take for granted.

Inky didn’t just introduce us to the dog world—he introduced us to people who have become like family.

Most importantly, Inky gave Scarlett the confidence to begin her Junior Handlers journey. Watching their bond grow has been one of the greatest joys. He has patiently stood by her, teaching her more than any person ever could, and helping shape her into the kind, gentle and determined young handler she is today.

Inky, you are so much more than a show dog. You are family, our heart dog, and the little black fluff butt who started a journey that has changed all of our lives forever.

Happy Gotcha Day, our beautiful boy. Thank you for everything you’ve given us over the past two years. We can’t wait to see where our next adventures together take us.

We love you beyond words. 🖤🐾

We are so extremely happy to say Mr Beretta (Sabarka Shots Fired) received a very nice Runner up Best in Group and Minor Puppy in group at yesterdays Hills Kennel Club Open Show.

Proud Mum Brag Post ❤️✨

Those who know us know that this journey all started with one little black fluffy butt, Inky, and Scarlett’s dream of competing in Junior Handlers.

Almost two years later, that dream has grown into something truly special, and our journey continues to be filled with wonderful opportunities, friendships, and unforgettable moments.

In just two weeks, Scarlett will compete in the State Junior Handlers Final, and this year she has the privilege of handling the beautiful Jet (Vanpoms Jet Aint Going Nowhere) as her finals dog.

Jet comes for regular sleepovers every fortnight so he and Scarlett can train together, build their partnership, and strengthen their bond. Watching their connection grow has been incredibly heartwarming. We are so grateful to Donna and Keith from Vanpoms for entrusting Scarlett with Jet, for their generosity, encouragement, and for taking her under their wing throughout this journey.

Today was one of those moments that makes your heart burst with pride. Scarlett and Jet were awarded 1st Place in the 10–13 Years Age Group under Mr. Steve Warry. 🏆❤️

What makes this achievement even more special is seeing how much Scarlett has grown. Week after week she has worked hard, listened, learned, and continued to develop her skills and confidence as a handler. Watching her dedication pay off has been an absolute joy.

She has also recently enjoyed success with Kirby the Rough Collie, placing 1st, and Manni the Australian Kelpie, placing 3rd. Each dog has taught her something different, and every experience has helped her become a better handler.

Most of all, Scarlett would like to thank everyone who has supported, encouraged, mentored, and trusted her along the way. It truly takes a village, and we are so appreciative of every person who has helped her learn, grow, and chase her dreams.

No matter what happens at the State Final, we couldn’t be prouder of the young handler, dog lover, and person she is becoming. ❤️🐾✨

Mr Beretta (Sabarka Shots Fired) is a big boy now and up with the big kids in the Best in Group line up.

He still loves to have a whole lot of fun, but he was pretty good yesterday for Nathan.

Sometimes being a breeder means experiencing the highest highs and the deepest heartbreaks and in the last 24hrs we have experienced this.

With great sadness, we share that Myrtle has lost her puppies.

We were so excited for this litter and had so many hopes and dreams for the little lives she was carrying. Unfortunately, Mother Nature can be incredibly cruel at times, and despite our best efforts, things don't always go the way we hope.

Our hearts are broken, and we are allowing ourselves time to grieve what might have been. Anyone who has loved and cared for an animal knows that these losses are felt deeply. Every planned litter represents so much more than puppies—it represents hope, love, and the future.

While we are devastated by the loss of Myrtle's puppies, we are also incredibly grateful. Myrtle herself is doing wonderfully, recovering well, and being thoroughly spoiled with love and cuddles. Right now, that is what matters most.

Thank you to everyone who has shared in our excitement and supported us along the way. We appreciate your kindness, understanding, and compassion more than you know.

Hold your loved ones a little closer tonight. Sometimes nature reminds us how precious and fragile life truly is.

Mr Beretta (Sabarka Shots Fired) had a lovely weekend out partied like it was 1979 and bought home another Baby in Group.

Thankyou to Teleen for taking the party boy in for me and Noellene for looking after him while I had my clash of mother duties.
