We’re looking forward to hearing more from Scott from 1 Green Thumb Gardening, our upcoming member speaker on Friday 11 September.

Scott takes enormous pride in doing things properly. He brings an incredible level of care, precision and attention to detail to his work, right down to the tools he chooses.

For Scott, creating and maintaining a beautiful garden isn't just about how it looks when he leaves. He wants his clients to come home, look at their garden and genuinely love spending time there.

Scott is a kind, thoughtful and highly valued member of our Toowoomba Business Partners team. He generously shares his knowledge and gardening advice, and we're really looking forward to learning more about him and his journey.

Our next Toowoomba Business Partners breakfast will be a little different to our usual format.

On Friday 28 August, we're bringing our members and their team members together for a special Member Development Breakfast with Brendan Ellis, focused on DISC behavioural profiling, communication and understanding the people we work alongside.

Growing a strong business isn't only about creating new opportunities. It's also about investing in our people and making time to learn and grow together.

A huge thank you to Brendan for generously sharing his time, knowledge and expertise with our team.

Our next regular breakfast open to visitors will be Friday 11 September. If you'd like to experience Toowoomba Business Partners, we'd love to hear from you.

Connection. Visibility. Opportunity.

Wonderful to learn more about Jodi Hay from Growth Engine Digital. Jodi describes herself as a tech, AI and numbers geek who loves learning, loves doing difficult things and has always wanted to understand how things work.

Her career has taken her through telecommunications, construction, accounting, finance and marketing, but there has been a common thread throughout: Jodi loves understanding how things work and using data to make better decisions.

As Jodi shared: ‘I love data and metrics that tell a story.’

Today, she brings that experience together through Growth Engine Digital, specialising in website design and SEO for established service businesses. For Jodi, a website isn't simply about looking good. She wants to understand whether it is actually helping a business generate leads and achieve results.

‘Results don't lie.’ But what stood out just as strongly was the way Jodi described her approach to her clients:

‘When I take on a client, I'm all in.’ Jodi cares about their success, generously shares her knowledge and describes herself as becoming their cheerleader and biggest supporter.

Thank you, Jodi, for sharing your story so openly and giving us a much greater understanding of the experiences, curiosity and determination behind Growth Engine Digital.

Thank you also to our wonderful visitors, Ivan from American Resprays & Mechanical, and Sonia and William from All Star Brokers. It was great to learn more about you and your businesses.

Our next guest breakfast is Friday 11 September. If you’d like to come along and experience Toowoomba Business Partners, reach out. We’d love to welcome you.

One of the things I value most about our Toowoomba Business Partners member presentations is the opportunity to understand not only what someone does, but how they think.

Recently, we had the opportunity to hear from Erin Wright from Ordinis Advisory, and Erin gave us a fascinating insight into the experience and thinking behind her business.

Her career has taken her through banking and financial planning, the defence industry, heavy plant manufacturing and advisory services, giving her extensive hands-on experience in the realities of business. Through Ordinis Advisory, Erin works with growing businesses to strengthen their financial management, structure and governance, helping business owners make better decisions and build the foundations for sustainable growth.

‘What problem are we really solving?’ Erin wants to understand and observe what is actually happening before jumping to a solution.

She asks incredibly valuable questions: What does success actually look like for the business owner? Which products make money? Is pricing keeping up with costs? Where are the bottlenecks? Can the business scale without the owner simply working harder?

And then comes the part where Erin shines: ‘Let's find a practical solution.’

Erin is direct, analytical and refreshingly straightforward. She has a genuine desire to help business owners create clarity, make better decisions and build businesses that can grow sustainably.

Thank you, Erin, for sharing your journey, experience and knowledge with our Toowoomba Business Partners team.

Guests are always welcome to join us and experience what Toowoomba Business Partners is all about. Our next breakfast is this Friday, 14 August 2026.

We're looking forward to welcoming Jodi Hay from Growth Engine Digital as our upcoming member speaker at the next Toowoomba Business Partners breakfast on Friday 14 August.

Many of our members have already had the opportunity to work with Jodi and experience the depth of knowledge she brings to a business.

With 20 years of experience in accounting, tax and finance, followed by more than a decade in website design and digital marketing, Jodi brings a unique perspective that goes far beyond creating beautiful websites. She understands business, numbers and strategy, and asks the questions that help businesses grow.

What I admire most about Jodi is that she measures success by her clients' success. She isn't interested in simply building beautiful websites. She's committed to helping businesses grow, and she's prepared to ask the questions that make that possible.

Whether she's improving a website, strengthening local SEO or helping business owners better understand their online performance, her focus is always on creating measurable outcomes.

We're looking forward to hearing more about Jodi's journey, her experience and the practical insights she'll be sharing with our group.

Guests are always welcome to join us and experience what Toowoomba Business Partners is all about. We'd love to see you there, reach out if that interests you.

One of my favourite parts of every Toowoomba Business Partners breakfast is learning more about the people behind the businesses.

Recently, we had the opportunity to learn more about Ryan from Ryan Latcham - Unlocked FinanceRyan Latcham - Unlocked Finance. What shines through is his genuine desire to help people create better outcomes.

Ryan shared, 'Whatever we do together, the results of that need to significantly benefit your current scenario.'

That simple philosophy clearly guides the way Ryan works with his clients.

One story that particularly resonated was about a family who had recently moved to Toowoomba to start a business. After being turned down elsewhere because they hadn't been in business long enough, Ryan looked beyond the standard criteria, recognised their industry experience and found a solution that helped them purchase their family home before Christmas.

Ryan doesn't simply arrange finance. He solves problems.

Whether it's helping a builder improve cash flow, structuring finance for a complex building project or supporting first home buyers into the market, Ryan's focus is always on finding the right solution for the individual.

What I admire most about Ryan is that he doesn't focus on finance first. He focuses on people. He takes the time to understand people's goals and then searches for the lender and product that best suits their circumstances. Whether it's helping a first home buyer, supporting a growing business or navigating a more complex lending scenario, his approach is always centred on achieving the best possible outcome for his clients.

Thank you, Ryan, for sharing your knowledge, your experience and your genuine commitment to helping people achieve their goals.

If you would like to come along as a guest to our next breakfast, reach out, we'd love to have you visit on Friday 14 August.

We're looking forward to welcoming Ryan Latcham from Ryan Latcham - Unlocked Finance as our upcoming member speaker at the next Toowoomba Business Partners breakfast this Friday 31 July.

Ryan is one of those people who genuinely cares about helping others. Whether he's helping someone buy their first home, finance a business or navigate a more complex lending journey, he takes the time to understand their goals and works hard to find the right solution.

What stands out most about Ryan is not just his knowledge of finance, but the relationships he builds along the way. He is generous with his time, committed to supporting others and has become a much-loved member of our Toowoomba Business Partners community.

We're looking forward to hearing more about Ryan's journey, what led him into finance and the practical insights he'll be sharing with our group.

'You are never too old to follow your passion.' These words from Annemarie Lyons from Health by Numb3rs perfectly capture the passion and positivity she brings to helping people create lasting change by taking charge of their own health and making wellbeing a priority.

What stands out about Annemarie is her incredible enthusiasm for helping people build strength, confidence and vitality through movement. Her positivity is infectious, and she genuinely wants people to enjoy moving their bodies and living healthier, happier lives.

One message that really resonated was:
'You've got to be in it for yourself. It's got to be sustainable and enjoyable.'

Rather than chasing quick fixes or unrealistic routines, Annemarie encourages people to find movement they genuinely enjoy, creating healthy habits that can last a lifetime.

After many years helping the Toowoomba community through personal training, running groups, yoga, school wellbeing programs and community events, Annemarie continues to lead by example with energy, kindness and an unwavering passion for helping people become the healthiest version of themselves.

We're looking forward to welcoming Annemarie Lyons from Health by Numb3rs as our upcoming member speaker at the next Toowoomba Business Partners breakfast on Friday 3 July.

Annemarie is one of those people whose energy is absolutely infectious. She is positive, genuine, incredibly hardworking and deeply passionate about helping people become healthier, stronger and more confident at every stage of life.

What I admire most about Annemarie is that she genuinely leads by example. Behind every early morning class, evening session and full studio is someone who has built her business through consistency, dedication and a real commitment to the people she supports.

Health by Numb3rs is far more than a personal training studio. It is a welcoming community where people are encouraged, challenged and supported to become the best version of themselves, whether they're just starting their fitness journey, returning after illness or injury, or working towards new personal goals.

We're looking forward to hearing more about Annemarie's journey, what drives her, and the passion behind Health by Numb3rs.

‘My whole life is food.’ These words from Julie at Perfect Catering Co capture the passion, energy and heart she brings to everything she does.

From family celebrations and camping trips to weddings, fundraisers, community events and corporate functions, food has always been at the centre of Julie's life.

One thing that really stands out about Julie is that food is never just about feeding people. It's about connection, community and creating beautiful memories and experiences.

She shared that when catering for a wake, she often asks families if their loved one had a favourite meal or special recipe.

‘We always try to do little things like that to make it personal.’
That genuine love for people shines through in everything Julie does.

What I admire most about Julie is her incredible work ethic, generosity and how she steps up to support others. Whether she's catering for hundreds of people, supporting community fundraisers or feeding family and friends around a campfire, she brings the same enthusiasm, warmth and attention to detail.

As Julie puts it, ‘We just try to do good food.’ And she absolutely nails that.

Thank you Julie for sharing your story, your laughter and your passion with our group.

If you'd like to experience our community as a guest, we'd love to welcome you along to our next networking breakfast on Friday 3 July 2026
