The black Araucana I was most suspicious about whether it was a pullet. They are 19 weeks old, and I'm not seeing any signs that scream cockerel. I can usually tell pretty early on with my own chickens. I think I've been questioning it because I thought it would be highly unlikely for all of them to be girls, so kept waiting for some noticeable signs. 😂
We lost all our Araucana to fox years ago, so it's taken me time to be ready to add more to our flock. I look forward to receiving more blue eggs in my basket. 🩵🥚

19 week old Araucana chookies. What are the odds 10 out of 12 eggs purchased were fertile, 10 eggs hatched and all 10 are pullets (female) Not complaining, but would of actually loved to have a cockerel. 🐔🥚😁

To deal with rats and mice, many use rodent bait. But baits have deadly consequences for wildlife (and pets!).
