Bert is an absolute delight with personality for days. Born in care and raised in a loving foster home with cats and dogs, he has grown into a confident, outgoing little guy who takes life in his stride.
This handsome boy loves to climb, chase his siblings, and explore, always curious about what is happening next. When playtime is over, Bert is more than happy to settle in for a snuggle. And let us be honest… he also has a very healthy appreciation for mealtimes. Food is serious business for Bert 😄

Every now and then, a cat comes into rescue who truly pulls at your heart and makes the tears flow…
Raggamuffin is that girl.

Raggamuffin came into Meow Rescue heavily pregnant after her owner reached out for help during a significant cat hoarding situation. What started as one undesexed cat sadly turned into ongoing litters, and Raggamuffin found herself caught in a cycle she never chose.

Despite everything she had been through, Raggamuffin arrived in care with a level of trust, gentleness and love that amazed everyone around her. She bonded deeply with her carer and went on to raise her babies with devotion and tenderness. Her kittens have all since found their forever homes… but Raggamuffin is still waiting. 💔

While in care, Raggamuffin required patella surgery for a suspected long-term untreated issue. The surgery was successful, the issue is now fully treated and stable, and it has no impact on her future or quality of life. She gets around just fine and doesn’t let it slow her down one bit.

Raggamuffin is:

🐾 The perfect companion for a loving home

She has now been in care for over 12 months, and we honestly don’t understand why this beautiful soul keeps being overlooked.

Available for adoption in Frankston south. Indie is a sweet girl that was rescued from rural high kill pound!
She is remarkable in her colouring of her coat and has come leaps and bounds in foster care.

She is a quiet girl that loves to watch what your up to from afar! She isn’t fond of being picked up but is happy to let you pat her once she has settled and found her confidence.

She is happiest in a home with another nurturing cat or someone who has a big heart and understands how hard it is to trust when you have had your trust broken and left abandoned at the pound.

We believe Indie has so much love to give for the right person!
Best with no young children. Children over 12 years old that understand Indie needs her space till comfortable.
Has not been tested with dogs and given her quiet nature best to have no dogs in the home.
She loves other confident cats!
