This is flicka (photo 1) and Spartacus. (Photo 2)
I have been trimming these 2 boys for 1yr and 6 months. Sparty was classed as "too dangerous". When I first met this beautiful boy I was told his back story. Long story short. His nerve in his shoulder pinches when you have his back leg come out backwards.
This isn't what I saw at all I saw was a pain response and I bought his leg forward and surprise surprise he appreciated this and relaxed still a little tense but had no pain so didn't feel the need to kick. Now in saying this he tried it on me a couple of times and was worried about being in pain so he tested my patience. I just kept with him and spoke to him softly and that bond began to build.
A year and a half down the track and I am able to bring his back leg out past his bum slightly but I will not push him because while he is tense he will hurt himself.
Massive shoutout to his beautiful owners for being flexible and consistent with me even when I didn't have a car.
Both of these boys are so lovable and sometimes push my patience but it comes with the territory.
