🚗🐾 Travelling With Cats – What Happens if Things Go Wrong? 🐱

Life on the road with cats can be an adventure, but sometimes things don’t go to plan. This happened to us on Saturday morning and it’s not fun, Thankyou NRMA and RACQ for sorting our canopy issues.
Here’s how we prepare for those just in case moments

🔴 Emergency situations – motorway breakdowns or pets locked in a car 🚨
👉 Police do have the authority to break windows if animals are at risk. Don’t hesitate to call for help!

🟠 Urgent but not critical – transport issues with equipment, or if you’re locked out of the car
👉 Stay calm, contact your roadside assistance, and make sure your cats are shaded and safe.

🟢 Non-emergency – breakdown at home
👉 You’ve got more time to manage, but still best to have a plan (safe space for the cats while waiting).

✨ We personally use RACQ Gold Tow Cover – highly recommend for peace of mind when travelling with precious cargo.

Because at the end of the day, it’s not just luggage in the car – it’s family 💜🐾
