After 3 years of trying to get my horse Sam right following a serious incident where he flipped over backwards, I had reached a point of real frustration and uncertainty.

When Deanne first assessed him, she identified a rotated atlas, a rotated pelvis, nerve impingement, and multiple misalignments throughout his back — and that’s just what I can remember from the first session.

We’ve now completed 4 sessions, and at the most recent visit there was only one minor misalignment remaining — a result I honestly didn’t think was possible after everything we’d been through. She’s turned him around in just a few months.

I’m now back riding him, and he feels like his old self again — strong, free-moving, and comfortable. The difference is incredible.

I can’t thank Deanne enough. After three years of setbacks, she has completely turned things around and made my entire year. Sam is now back to peak performance and ready to get back out in the arena.

✨ KLF Horsemanship Update ✨

I’ve recently reduced my hours during the week, which means I’ll now be offering coaching sessions on Saturdays and Sundays.

🌸 Coaching will officially open from the first week of Spring 🌸

🐴 Availability:
- Only 4 spots per weekend on my horses (2 each day)
- Limited availability for coaching on your own horses
- Travel available outside Port Lincoln (travel charges apply)

⏱️ Session Times:
- Kids sessions: 45 minutes
- Adult sessions: 1 hour
- Prices vary depending on session type

💰 Booking Policy:
- Payment must be made 48 hours prior to your session
- Unpaid bookings will be offered to the next person on the waitlist

🐎 Horse Update:
- Sam is finally back in work 🙌
- Hudson will be on spell over winter

💬 A bit of life lately…
It’s been a tough start to the year. Eli has officially spread his wings and headed to northern Queensland to work on a cattle station — riding horses, believe it or not! Safe to say having a horse mum paid off all those years 😂
We also said goodbye to our dear old Mr Skipper, which has been incredibly hard 💔

On a brighter note, I’ve just passed my first 6 months at my new job, so it’s official — I get to stay!!! 🎉 It’s been a big six months settling in, and I’m incredibly grateful to be part of such a supportive team at RSM Accounting.

I’m still studying as well, so coaching won’t run during exam weekends.

🌿 My coaching isn’t just about riding — I focus heavily on groundwork and building solid foundations to create confident, well-rounded horse and rider partnerships.

We’ve only got a few weeks of winter left ❄️ and the warmer days are already creeping in… which means it’s time to start ramping up those riding goals again! 💪🐴

KLF Horsemanship will have limited weekend coaching spots available this spring – Saturday or Sunday only – and they will book out fast!

Expression of Interest – Afternoon Horse Feeds (Mon–Fri)

I’m looking for someone who may be interested in doing afternoon feeds for 3 horses, Monday to Friday. The role takes around 1–1.5 hours (between 4:00–5:30 PM).

Attention to detail is very important, so ideally you’ll be experienced, reliable, and comfortable handling horses.

In exchange, I can offer either:
• Cash payment
or
• A private one-on-one riding session on a school horse (gear & horse provided) on weekends.

There’s also potential for regular riding opportunities during the warmer months with longer daylight hours as I am wanting to focus primarily on my young gelding.

It’s just weekday evenings – I’m currently doing all the feeds in the dark, so some help would be hugely appreciated.
