Tips for keeping your dog safe at Halloween.

Hide the sweets or keep them out of paws reach. Be careful of lit pumpkins and never leave your dog unattended with a lit candle, even when it is inside a pumpkin. If using battery lights in your pumpkins make sure your dog doesn't chew them.

Strangers in costumes can make it even more unsettling. To keep your dog calm during trick-or-treating times, consider setting up a quiet, comfortable space away from the front door. A cozy room with their favorite bed, toys, and maybe even a white noise machine or calming music can help drown out the commotion.
