Recently, sweet Kayla gave her family quite a scare when she suffered a sudden seizure. Thankfully, her quick-thinking mum leapt into action to keep her safe and immediately called Fetch Mobile Vets.

Dr. Jacob responded promptly, triaged the situation, and recommended Kayla be taken straight to emergency for further care. After a very stressful and sleepless night, Kayla’s vitals improved — and she thankfully returned to her happy, normal self 💕

The cause of the seizure is still unknown, but her loving family is closely monitoring her while we continue investigating.

🐝 Lola’s at it again! 🐶

Poor Lola had another adventure—this time involving a flying jalapeño (aka a bee)! 🐝 Unfortunately, she came off second best with some facial swelling after being stung. Thankfully, her vigilant owners acted fast (they’ve been on high alert since the great chocolate incident at Easter! 🍫), and called Dr. Jacob for a consult.

With prompt treatment, Lola made a full recovery—just a bit puffy and feeling sorry for herself. 💕

🐾 Remember Moose, the ‘Tibetan Mastiff’?

Dr. Jacob certainly does — especially after Moose enthusiastically reminded him during a recent visit! 🐶

While Dr. Jacob was out checking on one of Moose’s brothers, Moose made sure to say hello... by jumping up to greet him face to face (and Dr. Jacob is 6’3”!). 😄 He’s grown a lot and thankfully, can no longer squeeze through fences — much to his owners’ relief.

🐾 Meet Harlow (Left), Donnie!(Right) 🐶💛 Dr Jacob (Middle)

Poor little Harlow had been feeling a bit off last week — a few episodes of vomiting had her humans concerned. While she’s usually a bit nervous at the clinic, Harlow was all tail wags during her home visit with Dr. Jacob!

Of course, her cheeky brother Donnie wasn’t going to let her steal all the spotlight. He made sure to be front and center (mostly for the treats 🍖😉).

Vomiting can be caused by all sorts of things, so a thorough physical exam is super important. That’s why we love home visits — they help pets feel safe and relaxed, which means we can get a more accurate picture of what’s going on.

✅ In Harlow’s case, it turns out she just had a mild tummy upset… probably from sneakily snacking on Donnie’s 💩. A few days of rest and she was back to her happy self.

Dr. Jacob & a Pack of German Shepherd Puppies! 🐾🖤🤍

If you know Dr. Jacob, you know he has a serious soft spot for German Shepherds—and it’s not just their good looks! He truly understands (and secretly loves) their unique personalities, big energy, and just a little bit of chaos. 😅

He couldn’t resist jumping in for a cuddle and a photo with this adorable litter of eight German Shepherd puppies! Their dad is a classic black and tan shepherd, while mum is a stunning white shepherd—what a beautiful mix!

Each pup received a clean bill of health ✅, got their vaccinations, and was microchipped. Plus, they had a blast soaking up some sunshine between Perth’s rainy spells! ☀️🌧️

Gary’s Back — And So Is the Carrot! (Sort Of) 🐶🥕

Dr. Jacob recently visited our favourite carrot-loving pup, Gary! Now 9 months old, Gary was very excited to show off his famous carrot — though it might be looking a little smaller these days. 😄

Lately, Gary’s been a bit itchy, so after a full check-up, he received his monthly allergy injection to help him feel more comfortable.
