A bit late but we are very proud of our new Australian Champion and the very first for our prefix. Enzo can now be known as:

𝗖𝗛 𝗢𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗕𝗼𝗿𝗻 𝗧𝗼 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗔𝘁 𝗢𝗰𝗵𝗮𝘆𝗲

And he did it picking up a lovely 12pt BOB and shortlisted for BIS at the WDC of WA show on 2nd May at 12months old. He has also picked up another 4 x BOB in good numbers and a BIG4 from his last 4 shows.

A massive thank you to Belinda (and Samantha & Amy) for their help showing Enzo earlier in the year while we had our litter of puppies.

We are extremely grateful for the safe arrival of 5 precious Nato x Freya babies. A full rainbow litter! They are now 1 week old and thriving but here are some photos of them at 2 days old.

As the weather warms up you might be tempted to shave or clip down your Australian Shepherd to keep them cool.

STEP AWAY FROM THE CLIPPERS!

Science has proven that double coated (guard or top coat and undercoat which is fluffy and soft) breeds should not be clipped down but should instead be kept throughly brushed to remove the dead undercoat. The undercoat is vital in keeping your Australian Shepherd warm in the winter AND cool in the summer. If you shave them, they’re unable to regulate their heat naturally which makes them more susceptible to heat stroke and sunburn to the skin.

Instead, grab a regular metal comb and “line comb” the dog to remove dead undercoat. Go slowly.. line by line down to the skin. This will help your dog keep itself cooler and reduce shedding in your home!

Some updated photos of Enzo ‘Oshara Born To Perform at Ochaye’, our keeper from our Easter litter (Bundy x Etsy). He is now just over 8 months old and coming out the other side of the gangly minor puppy stage. Looking forward to seeing what he gets up to this year!

Our sweet Easter babies (Bundy x Etsy) are now 5 weeks old and their little personalities are starting to show!

We are extremely grateful to be able to announce the safe arrival of a very strong and healthy black tri girl from Bumper x Freya.

Raising a singleton puppy can have its challenges but we are determined to give her the best possible start to life and we absolutely adore her already.

Please note that we won’t be taking any enquiries until we have done our evaluations as she grows. We also have another very exciting litter planned for early 2025!
