Desperate for Love Dog Pound Rescue We are a volunteer run, NFP dog rescue based in Perth WA. As our dogs are usually rescued from pounds, we are often unaware of their age, breed and background.

At Desperate for Love Dog Pound Rescue (DFL) we aim to find rescue dogs their permanent homes with families who will commit to loving them for the rest of their days! The dogs in our care live temporarily with foster families in Perth Metro while we prepare them for adoption; completing their vaccinations, microchipping, desexing & other medical care, and getting to know their personalities and ne

eds. We don’t have a central location as our foster carers are based all over Perth, so you are welcome to view our dogs online at: www.savour-life.com.au/adopt-a-dog/rescue-groups/7422/ and contact us by email if you would like to apply for & meet one of our dogs. Please be aware that each dog may have many applications for their adoption and our goal is to select the home best matched to the needs of the individual dog. Only one applicant can be chosen, & while we do our best to notify unsuccessful applicants or suggest a more suitably matched dog, we appreciate your patience and understanding. While we do try to list an approximate age & breed, there are no guarantees when it comes to rescue dogs. When you adopt a DFL dog, their adoption fee goes towards paying for their vet work along with helping other dogs in need! We also rescue dogs that are very old or ill and care for them under our rescue for whatever time they have left – these are our 'Forever Fosters'. As we approach the end of the financial year, DFL is asking our amazing supporters (you) and dog lovers everywhere to join us in making a difference for animals in need. Your generous donations enable us to rescue, rehabilitate, and provide vital veterinary care for dogs who rely on our help.

Excuse me… have you seen my forever family? 👀💛

Noah has mastered the important things in life: carrying a favourite plush toy, knowing exactly when dinner is being served, and looking ridiculously handsome in a bandana.

This sweet boy is the total package — house-trained, great recall, settles beautifully at home, and clever enough to learn just about anything (especially if snacks are involved 🍖).

He loves a good walk, enjoys spending time with his people, and then happily curls up for a well-earned nap. Independent when you need him to be, affectionate when you want company, Noah has that rare easy-going nature that makes him a joy to live with.

Honestly, we’re not sure what’s brighter — his future or that gorgeous smile. 😍

Professionally, I’m a handsome Cane Corso. Personally, I’m a big-hearted boofhead with a talent for looking adorable and making people fall in love with me.

My hobbies include:
✔️ Going for walks and being surprisingly good on lead
✔️ Sitting politely for treats
✔️ Sniffing absolutely everything
✔️ Rolling dramatically in the grass for no apparent reason
