We feel one of our services is being very much under utilised. For those that are local to us (like Ziggy) or even for those who don’t mind a car ride, there is a dramatic economic benefit to customers taking advantage of this service.

Mabel is Ivar’s little sister and she’s almost as anxious as he is when it comes to being on the slatmill, so we now have slow intro to mill sessions for her also. 🤩

Ivar the Great Dane is a gorgeous big boy that at times has some troubles being rather anxious. As a result we really need to take very slowly his introduction to slatmills so we have the best chance of a positive experience and outcome. This means multiple sessions, lots of patience and small little wins that are easy to overlook and not fully appreciate. It’s super important to show these sessions and dogs like Ivar to realise that not all dogs can use equipment like slatmills immediately, even when we know they would love it if they could get past the fears.

Kelpie-cross REX I m o g e n had no problem conquering the slatmill like a pro. He was even able to stop and go on command. This is only possible because our mills don’t have a motor but instead, the belt is pushed around by the dog when they try to move. 👍💪👍

Winx Jade West blitzed his first session and was running within minutes absolutely loving the freedom our non-motorised slatmills provide. Enabling dogs to run at their own pace because the belt is free spinning just like a hamster wheel 💪🤩💪

Shadow 𝓚𝓪𝓽𝓮𝓵𝔂𝓷 𝓐𝓵𝓵𝓮𝓷 🦋 puts in the work very happily… but like all of us, he must have payment 🤣🤣🤣 in this session it was blueberry’s 🫐🫐🫐 nice and healthy Shadow 🤩🤩🤩

Buddy Buddy Bowlaaaa has been milling with us for just over a year now and absolutely loves every minute of it. Buddy gets regular daily walks AND sessions with us too, what a lucky boy 🤩🤩🤩

Taco Belleden Therapies doesn’t like travel or getting into vehicles. At first we tried for a few sessions but no success getting him to stay in the van. One full year later he showed interest when we were putting the mill back into the van. So we tried him again and BOOM…. his love for running on the mills overcame his resistance to be inside the van 🎉🎉🎉. Other vehicles are still a problem, but it’s amazing how many ways the mills can help dogs. 🤩🤩🤩
