Stunning Merlin is quite the character and his beautiful blue eyes will have you spell bound in no time!

Merlin is a cordial gent and he likes to be around you, though he is quite satisfied with his own company as well. He likes to talk, so be prepared to have some chats! He is particularly vocal if you are inconsiderate enough to be late with his breakfast or dinner. At other times though, all he is asking for is a bit of a pat and some loving please 🩵

Merlin loves to have his head, chin, back, and belly rubbed, though he is still adjusting to being held. He likes to sit near you and although it’s a bit ungentlemanly of him, he has a particular fondness for joining you in the bathroom!

Merlin enjoys his sleep and one of his favourite pastimes is sunning himself on his very own chair in the catio. He likes playing with his toys, with the soft and round ones always being a particular favourite.

Merlin has been accustomed to being the only cat in his household, and though efforts have been made to change this, Merlin has decided that he still much prefers his own company. With this in mind, he would do best as the only cat in his household.

If you are looking for a handsome young gentleman, who loves to talk to you and es**rt you around throughout your day, then I am definitely your man!

I am a MASSIVE talker and I love to smooch you!! Rubbing my tail around your legs, head bumps, scratches, and generally being close to you is what I like. I am also happy to play ball, scratch the cat stands, chill out in the catio, and I am perfectly happy to entertain myself when needed. I love me a cardboard scratcher and I can get quite carried away while I use this!

We have other cats and kittens here and I get along with everyone. I could be an only kitty, or I would be happy to share my new family with an existing kitty, with a patient introduction. I think I would adjust fine to older and respectful kids, little ones are likely to be too noisy for me.

Mr Watson has come a long way since coming into Deedlebugs care. He will need a little time to adjust, and to build his confidence with his new family. Once settled, he is a confident and playful boy. He has had some prior bad experiences and consequently, he isn’t too keen on spray cans (fly spray). We have been working on this and although he is still wary, he has become a lot more trusting, in a short amount of time.

Mr Watson really is a beautiful young gentleman. He is an affectionate boy who just wants to be close to you, and to have someone to love. He is clean and tidy and loves lots of pats. Mr Watson is not fussy with his food (wet or dry), and push up creamy treats are a special favourite.
