Hey Everyone!

Thank you so much for visiting my page! I’m Rach, I’m 29, born and raised in Melbourne, and I’m here to tell you a bit about how I chose my business name, and why I decided to start a small sugar cookie business.

The name BellaBon was actually made up from two of my pets names. My current pet, who I don’t like to call a ‘pet’, is an adorable little cat who goes by the name of Bella. She is my number one! I treat her like I would treat my own child, she is my family and I absolutely adore her. Bon, was my dad and stepmums dog, who unfortunately passed away last year. She was a gorgeous golden lab and she was my best friend. Bon had a great life, she lasted to almost 16 years, which is 112 in human years! Crazy right? I miss her so much. I would do anything to have her back. So that’s where the name BellaBon came from, as it makes me happy everytime I see it/say it :-)

Now that you know where the name came from, you might be wondering why I decided to start up a sugar coookie business. Well, simple, I get bored!! I have always been a homebody, and when I am not working at my full time job, I find myself being lazy and sitting on the couch, so why not spend my spare time baking instead? I never thought I would enjoy baking as much as I do. I have been baking for months and months making sure I get the perfect recipe for both my cookies and fondant, and I have loved every second of it.
