Throwback to 2023!

First fine wool Merino's for me on the central coast. Culled from the New England, to a life of luxury. Taking their colars off was never part of the arrangement in the past, but im going to have to get used to it. William had never seen dad shear. He was excited the day before, and I had been trying to make the oportunity for some time. Halfway through the second sheep, I noticed my rousy had vacated. Turns out he had strapped himself into his booster seat, in the car, before the longblow, declaring; "OK, i'm done shearing".

Saves me flogging him with the handpiece I guess.😆
