Eeekkkk! Tiger snake between the van and where we need to shear. 4 foot long, sleek and very content.

THANK GOD it moved so that we could set up and shear.

A salient reminder to myself to NEVER shear in long grass!! 😬🙄😳

Really, really happy with my "table on wheels" designed to get all our gear to the alpacas when they are hundreds of meters from the van.

Really, really happy with my "table on wheels" design for hard jobs where the alpacas are a long way from the van and we can't drive in.

My rousties were also very appreciative 😊🦙

It's not often that we get to meet a cria only a week old. This little boy was super curious as we sheared his mum, and very cheeky.

Celeste and Leo must had to give him a cuddle.

It was great to see Barbara and Bruno the llama today. Not my best shearing job though, as Bruno was just a wee bit feisty, especially around the head and legs.

Oh well, I'll give it another go next year. 😏
