A few of this week's custom makes a doggy treat bag for my sister's pint-sized pup Maddy, a small floral skull shoulder bag for the fabulous Sheree (this is her fourth bag , we must be doing something right!) and a named phone drawstring bag for Thea . Now I am working on a holiday bag for yours truly, Liza. I will be closing off any custom bag orders in two weeks to give me time to complete orders before head of to Canada!!! 🇨🇦 Tracey will continue to complete scrub top orders while I am off jet setting ♥️

We hope you all had an egg-cellent Easter break. We've been having a blast with our grandkids and squeezing in a few orders on the side. We'll be back to our creative antics in no time. Here are a few of the orders we managed to sneak in during our downtime ♥️

All set up at the Mackay Showgrounds big shed for a 4pm opening. The Makers market has over 60 stalls and food vans to choose from, plus activities for the children, including a visit from the Easter bunny and an Easter egg hunt. #

We had grand plans to create a gazillion gorgeous toiletry bags for the markets this week, but time has sneaked up on us! I've got a bunch cut out and ready to sew, but that's as far as I've gotten. Tracey's been in the wars and is temporarily out of commission, plus we're spending quality time with our adorable grandkids for the school holidays. Any custom orders placed now will take around 2-3 weeks. ♥️ We hope to see you at the markets this Saturday night at the Mackay Showgrounds from 4-8.30pm

This week has been a week filled with new and different things. We sewed a little long sleeve wedding top out of the adult size shirt, cut up a broken cow hide backpack and made a functional crossbody bag (found out what a mess the cow hide hair makes 😂)
Made a bunch of sunglasses cases to get ready for the makers market on the 12th April.
Plus a shopping tote to finish off the week. Now to get the garden blower out to remove all the cow hair 🤣🤣🤣

One lot of Thermomix covers are off to their new homes loving the colours 🥰 we are slowly catching up on all our orders. Quilting will be an additional add on feature for all future thermomix covers.

It's absolute pandemonium in the sewing room this week. We're churning out Thermomix covers like they're going out of style, but our assembly line batch sewing is making us feel like hamsters on a wheel 🤣 lots of effort, but getting nowhere fast. We've managed to cut and fuse all the pieces, and now we're onto the quilting, but it's all a bit of a blur. Sadly, we're too slammed to bring you Feature Friday this week, but don't worry, we've got a special surprise up our sleeve instead.

Friday feature has gone to the dark side! I am completely obsessed with this tote, it comes in two sizes. This is the smaller size (and by small, I mean gigantic). The other one is practically a suitcase. They're both made from different materials, because why not, check the website for details. I've got a few more in the works, stay tuned for more fun prints. On the sewing table this week, I'm whipping up some toiletry bags with waterproof canvas inside and out, I tested the limits of one and took a picture to prove I could fit a ton of stuff in it with room to spare. Now, I've got 5 more cut out and ready to sew, and they'll all be up on the website on friday for a retail drop of all the new items♥️
