Someone said I'm lucky to have puppies every day, and I agree. Being able to raise and handle pups under 8 weeks old is a privilege 🧡
Pups are now 4 weeks old, they’re getting used to eating solid food but eating with their entire bodies. We sponge bath each puppy four times a day after each meal. Whenever you hold a one you just can't help but kiss the pup’s nose. Their eye contact draws you in, it’s a beautiful quality of the cobberdog🤎🧡
At 4 weeks socialisation takes on another level since pups can see, hear, and walk. Time to go outside with grass and sun as pups are starting to self regulate their heat.
We're playing the radio with the footy to get the pups used to deep voices and to get them used to the sound and vibration of grooming, we hold the clippers against their feet and chest.
