Best Friend Horse Aggistment has recently decided to expand the business. Not only now can you Agist your horse/pony here, refer to a chart with times & dates of sessions/lessons that will be uploaded to best friends horse Agistment, with up to date fee’s .this will be posted over the next 72 hours... 🤙
THERAPUTIC EQUINE TIME
I am putting out an expression if interest (EOI) for those who would participate/ be interested in entering sessions with a therapeutic horse to deal with elements of anxiety, social fears, lack of confidence within every day or only some day events related matters. Children/adults with any cognitive issues.
This is my main focus with the horses and humans. People who are the strongest personality & have their s**t together can still become broken. It can be work related, relationship, or bullying issues. Mental health issue does not discriminate! Any one can fall into this difficult time.
I would like to offer a safe place to gain your thoughts.. gain trust... gain strength... get the old you back & with a bigger & better zest for life than ever before!
My horses/ponies do not judge! They will calm you. Teach you self awareness and you will learn how to trust your natural instincts by choosing to participate in equine therapy. It can be anything from sitting with one of my horses/
Ponies, grooming, feeding, getting down & dirty mucking our stables (the S**t sensae) it is jokingly refered to here. Believe it or not you can gather your thoughts & solve the worlds problems when mucking out stables 🤷🏻♀️💩 but this is not for all.. 🤙
You can come here and escape the rat race of town and concrete.
If I have enough interest in this I will be setting up a theraputic teepee for meditation 🧘🏻♀️ also.
This will be in the tranquil setting with the silent healing of my best equine friends.
Fees and availability times will be posted if enough interest.
NOTE: you need not disclose any information as to what may have caused any anxciety/stress unless you feel it will assist. I will sign a confidentiality clause to ensure the nature of your visit or any names of any visitors is not disclosed.
If community interest is sufficient an open day will be announced.
This will not be a place for counselling, nor will anyone be provided advice apart from horse information, if wanted.
This will be a personal therapeutic retreat for an hour/longer if required to allow you to escape from the stressors of life.
In addition to the equine therapeutic experience, basic horse husbandry/lessons & training will

1. Training your pony/horse in basic ground manners.
Gaining confidence in rider.. we have all been there or will one day... have that incident with the pony thought loved me unconditionally & would notnscare is, harm is or just bloodybwalk all over us!
There for implementing basic ground work and teaching your horse/pony to respect you at all times.
2. Desensitising your horse/ pony.
3. Flexion & Suppleness.
4. Float training... is not yet available but is not too far away.
5. Bridle fitting.
6. Holiday Care -full time.
7. Horse Socilizing.
8. Bush Trail rides ... not available.. but coming soon.
9. Basic horse ridding lessons. Kids & adults.
10. School holiday & after school & weekend approved theory classes on basic horse rules & anything needed/ wanted to know. ie.. Grooming, hoof care, teeth care, worming care, skin care, understanding of possible horse illnesses.. knowing when to call the vet. Basic first aid for horses & human. Emergency had break. (Stopping a bolting hors/pony).
11. Basic Horse Ridding Lessons for those that have never ridden ha horse before & anyone that would like to learn how to rode.
12. Learning how Trot.
13. Learning how to canter.
14. Fun days with your own pony... not available but is coming soon.
15. Correct seat.
16. Exercise session to gain human flexibility to ensure good ridding.
17. Tack Care.
18. Photo shoots in natural habitat with horse/pony. Choose 3 different outfits.
19. Wet season dam swimming with the horse/horses.
20. Horse transportation.. if you need your horse floated to & from an event. (stables/ home).
21. Children’s birthday parties... not yet available but will be in next 3 months.
22. Children’s lead pony rides. Consists of your child being led about on a pony around the property.
23. Horse breaking.. but hate that word.. so horse starting. Will

People entering & participating in any horse activity are liable for their own risk. Any injuries to visitors/ students will not be the responsibility of owner/opperstor. All people/children are to pay their own medical treatment Helmets, boots and any safety vests. Need to be supplied by ridder and or parent of anyone under the age of 18 years old.
Owner/manager does have clearance to work with children under the age of 18 years & has no a criminal history. Police clearance also provided.
