👀🐍 Did you know Tinks Snake Relocations does more than just snake call-outs?

That’s right — Tinks Snake Relocations also offers roof inspections and yard inspections to help spot those sneaky snake hidey-holes before you get an unexpected visitor! 😅

Roofs, sheds, wood piles, overgrown gardens, clutter, pet areas — snakes are masters of finding the perfect little hideaway (rent free, of course 🙄🐍).

If you’ve been seeing snake activity around your property, have pets, or just want peace of mind, a property inspection can help identify snake hotspots, entry points, attractants, and ways to make your yard less snake-friendly.

Because the best snake relocation… is sometimes stopping the surprise encounter in the first place 👀

Well, today’s Mother’s Day surprise definitely wasn’t flowers or chocolates… 😅🐍

I got called out to Hawks Nest for a Stephen’s Banded Snake who had decided a cupboard was the perfect hiding spot! The little spicy noodle was discovered when the homeowners went to grab their shoes for a Mother’s Day lunch and instead got the surprise of a lifetime. Talk about an unexpected guest! 👀

These guys aren’t just ground dwellers either — they’re also arboreal, meaning they’re pretty handy climbers too. And yes, they are highly venomous, so definitely not the kind of housemate you want hanging around.

In some of the photos, you’ll notice he’s flattened his head out — this is a defensive posture snakes use when they’re feeling threatened or uncomfortable. It’s basically snake language for, “Back off, thanks!”

Safe to say… this Mother’s Day came with a little extra excitement! What a surprise! 🐍💐
