Hi all!
Just a quick post in regards to your dogs coats now it’s getting cooler.
I have a few clients who are unsure on how short they think their dogs should go.
My answer is….
If they live and sleep inside it shouldn’t matter if they are still short. But if they are outside a lot of the time then keeping them a bit longer will help keep them warm.
Below is a brushing guide on the important areas to keep on top of.
Remember if they wear coats, harnesses or collars those areas you need to concentrate on.
I am having to start charging matting fees of $15 if I need to spend extra time getting out the mats.
Obviously one or two mats is fine but if they are matted more than usual I will have to charge this fee.
I will ONLY demat them (within reason) if they are coping with it. If they don’t they will be going shorter.
But just remember if they are living inside they won’t have to go longer. We also have to make sure they don’t overheat. 💙💙🩷🩷
