🤠❤️ The Cowboy Cats have discovered big woofers make excellent friends! ❤️🤠

Our resident Cowboy Cats, Wyatt and Peanut, have decided that the big dogs are pretty awesome… and they’re not holding back on the love! 😂

Meanwhile, Molly’s face is basically saying, “Can someone please remove these two from my personal space?” 🤣

But Wyatt and Peanut are having absolutely none of it! They’re all “WE LOVE YOU MUM!” and are determined to shower everyone with their endless supply of smooches. 🥰

These two furry little love bombs have SO much love to give, and they’re looking for their forever humans to share it with. ❤️

If you’re looking for an extra friend (or two 😉), these handsome boys could be just what you’re looking for.

Meet Winnie and her very own little pot of honey-coated chaos! 🥰🐾

🍯 WINNIE – Mumma Bear
Sweet, gentle and incredibly easy to handle, Winnie is the most wonderful mumma. After being abandoned when her family moved away, a kind neighbour took her in — only to discover that this little honey pot was actually expecting a whole bunch of tiny surprises! 🐱💕

And then came the Pooh Crew…

🖤🤍 EEYORE – Black & White
A little leader of the pack, a LOT adorable. Don’t let that Eeyore name fool you — this little one is already mastering the art of stealing hearts!

🩶🤍 ROO – Grey & White
Our little bouncing Roo! 🦘 Full of curiosity, cuteness and kitten mischief. Little more reserved but keen to hope over for snuggles.

🤎🤍 PIGLET – Brown & White
No so Tiny, sweet and possibly convinced that the entire world exists purely to give kitten cuddles. 🥹💕

🧡🖤 TIGGER – Tortie
Bouncy? Check. Mischievous? Absolutely. Adorable? The silkiest coat & TIGGERIFIC! 🐯😂

✨ All four kittens are Domestic Long Hair and are now around 8 weeks old.

They’re almost ready for their big snip, chip & vaccination adventure, so stay tuned for when these little honey pots are officially ready to find their forever homes! 🏡💕

For now… we’ll just be over here drowning in kitten cuteness. 😍🐾

Mr Chilli Chow is back from the groomers and WOW… what a transformation! 😻✂️

A HUGE thank you to The Whole Kitten Caboodle Cat Grooming for working their magic and removing his awful, badly matted coat. Chilli can finally move freely, feel comfortable and show off the handsome bloke hiding underneath all those mats. ❤️

And now… the BIG question…

Does Mr Chilli Chow absolutely ROCK the lion cut? 🦁😎

We think he does! And judging by the way he’s strutting around introducing himself to all his new friends, Chilli is pretty impressed with his new look too! 😂

He’s gone from matted mess ➡️ magnificent man! 👑

Next stop: a quick nip and tuck at the vets to make sure there are no more Mr Chillies — then he’ll be ready to find his forever home! 😉✂️🐾

Not every rescue cat is an extrovert 🐾❤️

Remember, not all kittens and cats are the type to run straight up to strangers, jump onto laps and start purring. Some need a little time to feel comfortable, get to know you and show you who they really are.

We have some beautiful rescue kittens and cats who have had multiple meet & greets, only to be overlooked because they didn’t immediately put on a show for their visitors.

But here’s the thing… rescue cats need time.
Time to adjust.
Time to feel safe.
Time to learn that they can trust you.

And sometimes the quiet, shy one sitting in the corner is the one who will completely melt your heart once they realise they are safe. 🥹❤️

Trust us… when that trust finally comes, you can be rewarded with one of the most affectionate, loyal and loving companions you could ever ask for. 🐱❤️

So please don’t judge a rescue cat by the first 10 minutes of a meet & greet. Give them a little time, a little patience and a chance to show you who they really are.

Sometimes the biggest love stories start with the quietest hello. 🐾💕

RUGBY RASCALS UPDATE! 🏉🐾

Meet Mr Winger and Ms Try — our beautiful ginger duo who have completely rewritten their own story! 🥰

Once upon a time, these two were rated a terrifying 98% spicy ninja 🌶️🥷

Well… we clearly underestimated the power of snacks! 😂

They are now officially declared 10% spice and 90% LOVEBUG! ❤️🐱

🧡 Winger
Our handsome boy can be a little shy when meeting strangers, but once he realises you too are a reliable provider of snacks, he is VERY keen to make friends! 😂

Once he warms up, Winger is an absolute lovebug who just wants to be close to you. 🥰

🧡 Try
Ohhh Try… what a personality! 😂

She may have been one of the more reserved Rascals when she first arrived, but these days she is FIRST IN LINE TO GREET THE VISITORS — paw at the ready to conduct a very important snack inspection. 🐾🍗

In fact, some recent visitors to the Rescue Sanctuary officially nicknamed her “The Snackanator” 😂

Try is absolutely determined to be front and centre and has even demonstrated her impressive rugby skills — holding her competition down with one paw while the other reaches for the goodies! 🏉🤣

A girl has to have priorities!

These two beautiful gingers are absolutely stunning, incredibly sweet and have come such a long way. ❤️

They would make a wonderful addition to a loving home together or separately, although they do enjoy having a feline friend around to keep them company and play with when their humans are busy.

As they are still relatively new to the whole “being house cats” thing, they will need a little patience, time and slow introductions while they continue learning that humans, houses and laps are all pretty wonderful things.

But give them time… and, of course, a few strategically placed treats… and we reckon you’ll have yourself a couple of very happy, very affectionate ginger lap warmers in no time! 🥰🐾

🌶️ WELCOME TO COMPLETELY RESCUED CHILLI! 🌶️

Welcome to our newest foster to safely land in our care — Chilli, aka Sweet Chilli, Mr Chilli… or Mr Chilli Chow 😆🌶️

And yes… Mr Chilli Chow is absolutely named after The Hangover movies because, quite frankly, this beautiful boy looks like he’s been on one VERY long busks party that he clearly doesn’t remember! 🍻😂

Chilli was found very sad, drenched from the rain and absolutely starving. We’re unsure how long he had been living rough, but judging by his condition, it must have been quite some time. 💔

His beautiful coat is severely matted, with the mats pulling tightly on his skin and making movement uncomfortable and, at times, painful. He was also not desexed, not microchipped and absolutely covered in fleas. 😿

But that’s all about to change! ⭐️

After plenty of TLC, good food and some much-needed time to decompress, Chilli has now graduated from our quarantine area and is enjoying some quality time in the sunshine ☀️, climbing cat trees 🌳 and checking out the native wildlife from the safety of his very own netted cat run. 🐦🐨

And now comes the REALLY exciting part! 🤩

A HUGE thank you and shout-out to Kate from The Whole Kitten Caboodle Cat Grooming for offering to take on this beautiful boy and work her magic to help reveal the majestic man underneath all those mats! ✂️✨

Because Mr Chilli Chow has clearly had one hell of an adventure and a few too many wild nights 😂🍻… it’s now time to retire the holiday souvenirs, remove the piercings and tattoos 😆, get pampered, fed, loved and officially back on the straight and narrow! No more dealing illegal CatNip in dark alleys for this bad boy!

He’ll also be heading to the vet for his very important desexing, microchip, vaccinations and parasite treatment. ❤️

And this is especially important as we head towards kitten season. Every undesexed cat means the potential for more unwanted litters, so getting boys like Chilli desexed is a really important part of breaking that cycle. 🙏

From rough, matted and forgotten…

To freshly groomed, desexed, vaccinated and ready for a forever family. 🥰⭐️

We have a feeling there’s a VERY handsome boy hiding under all that fluff…
