GCEG Showjumping Weekend and what a weekend!!!

Bindy hadn't been to Mount Larcom before so I put her in the 50-60cm on Saturday and 60-70cm on Sunday, and boy she was on 🔥

Saturday saw us with 1st place overall in the 50cm and 2nd overall in the 60cm.

Sunday we got 1st overall in the 60cm and 8th overall in the 70cm (we slowed down a touch in the 70cm to get some nicer pacing and jumps, and I was also a little anxious as we stepped up a bit out of our comfort zone, she did a nice round but unfortunately she needs the speed with her little legs to place 😂

Overall we scored Champion for the 60cm 🏆

I couldn't be prouder of this little mare even with her marey moments 😂 So much love for her 😍 (and for all those that wanted to hide her in your floats, I know where to find her if she goes missing 😂 yes Fran I'm watching you 👀

Was great to catch up and hang out with everyone over the weekend, thank you all that helped calm my nerves ☺️ if anyone else needs a good human calming product try the Equachill oil that we stock at Horseland - amazing product!!

Day 1 at Regi complete

Both girls did amazing 🤩

Bailey's first ever show and was so brave, even took the whole indoor arena in her stride, can't wait to see how she progresses with some more outings.

50cm A2 - unfortunately knocked 3 rails but still came in about 11th out of 16 riders, so didn't come last and definitely didn't have the slowest time at all 😂

Bindy was soooo much better today than the last show, we used the Hidez hoods and couldn't be happier with the results.

50cm A2 - 1st (Seniors) 4th overall out of 16 riders
60cm - 4th Seniors 7th overall out of 15 riders

Not a bad effort for her 2nd show OTT, I was a bit rusty from not competing much this year, but was good to be out again 🐴

Thanks to my portable tree I took with me today 😂 Ben is never impressed when he has to hold a horse but luckily this time it was his idea to take Bailey 😂 don't know what I would do without him 🥰

Had some wins with this girl today. Little Bindy had the Chiro and farrier out a few weeks a go to sort her out, she has some sciatic issues we are working through, but we are finally starting to see improvements after the adjustments. So happy.😊🥰

My girl Lunar and I achieved 3rd overall out of over 150 horse & rider combinations in the 70-80cm EQ Leaderboard for 2022.

What an achievement thank you Equestrian Queensland for the award and prize and for running the EQ Leaderboards each year.

Lunar is now having some time off to become a mum 🐴🐴

Can't wait for next year's

GCEG Showjumping championships 31st July 2022

Wow what a day!!!

Secret jumped in the 70cm EQ class and came out clear and with the win so super proud of him, as always jumped like the champion he is 🏆🥇

Lunar wasn't far behind in the 70cm EQ class coming in a close 5th, but because of a rider error taking a corner too sharp we pulled one rail. Lunar isn't the easiest horse to ride but I feel like we might be finally getting somewhere 😀

Then there is little (Big) Louie who blew me away with his big strides and heart of gold he did a beautiful clear round and came in 3rd in the 50cm. 🥉

Thank you to my amazing husband Benjamin for supporting my crazy adventures and Trish for trusting me with Louie.

Next show is REGI SJ on the 20th & 21st August with my amazing daughter Chelsie, super excited 😀
