Bunny Spa Day Success!
We had the absolute pleasure of pampering a very special client at Loppies today!

The handsome Jerry came in for our Full Grooming Hygiene Package, and he was on his absolute best behavior from start to finish! Jerry sat like a total angel for his 1.5-hour session, which includes a full fur brush out, nail trim, eye and ear clean, and a detailed gland inspection and impaction cleaning.

He left looking, feeling, and smelling his absolute best! 🐰💕

Our Full Grooming Hygiene Package ($120.00) is the perfect quarterly refresh, especially during shedding seasons.

It includes:
Fur brushing to remove loose hair and prevent mats
Detangling/mat removal if required
Butt bath and trim (shave) if required
Nail trimming
Outer ear & eye clean
Gland inspection & impaction cleaning to prevent infections and odour.

Thank you to Jerry's family for trusting us with his spa day!

Let's talk Mini Lop Genetics:
What is the rarest colour?
If you have ever scrolled through photos of Mini Lops, you know their coats come in an incredible rainbow of shades. But some of those beautiful coats are incredibly hard to produce. True rarity comes down to complex recessive genes.

Here are 3 of the hardest varieties to find:
Lilac Solid: A stunning, dusty dove-grey with a soft pinkish or lavender tint. It requires a rabbit to inherit a double dose of both dilute and chocolate genes.
The Magpie Pattern: A stark, zebra-like patchwork of jet black and pure white bands, with zero orange allowed.
Blue-Eyed White (BEW): Pristine snow-white fur contrasted by intense, crystal-blue eyes. It requires two copies of the elusive Vienna gene.

What is your absolute dream Mini Lop colour? Let us know in the comments.
