Now to introduce Peggy’s and Piero’s babies, no names yet but we have 2 beautiful girls who were delivered by caesarean last Wednesday, on the Monday we did our puppy count X-ray to find 2 very big puppies so opted for a caesarean as this is Peggy’s first litter, at 5 days old they are almost double their birth weight and the biggest is heavier than all of Roses puppies, the other one is not far behind, once again thanks again to the amazing team Woodgrange Veterinary Small Animal Division 🐶🐾🥰

I can’t believe it has been 10 days since Rose had her babies, she had 8 babies naturally, the first arriving at 1.54 in the morning, over 8 hours later we thought she had had her last, she was content, resting lots and showing no signs of still being in labour but I wasn’t sure if i could feel or see another inside so I took her to my vets for an X-ray to make sure there were no more and lucky I did as there was a large puppy inside, unfortunately there was no heart beat, she had to have an emergency caesarian to get him out, Mum and puppies are going great, we have 6 girls and 2 boys all black spotted, their spots are coming through, they have all doubled their weight and some are starting to walk, thanks to the team at Woodgrange Veterinary Small Animal Division especially Dr John Russell for taking such good care of our beautiful girl Rose, we are so lucky to have them so close by
