This beautiful girl is named Aura. Aura came back in for a recheck with her family. Aura was recently treated in our hospital for Tetanus.

Tetanus is a bacterial infection caused by Clostridium tetani, found in soil. In Aura’s case, the bacteria entered her body via a small wound on her leg that has closed up, a week before she presented at our clinic.
There is no preventive vaccine for this in dogs. Seeking immediate veterinary attention is a must if you suspect your pet has any symptoms. This may include;
Stiffness, locked jaw appearance, muscle spasms and showing pain signs just to name a few.
Aura is a lucky girl! 🥰👏🐾🐕
