Thank you so much to everyone who reached out with interest, kindness, and genuine care for Mocha. The response truly reflected what a thoughtful and supportive community this is.
Due to a combination of work, study, and personal life circumstances, and with Mocha’s wellbeing as the absolute priority, a decision was made to act quickly. To ensure he remained safe, settled, and supported during this transition, Mocha met his new family this morning as a matter of urgency.
This was not a decision taken lightly. It was important that the move happened smoothly and gently—not only for Mocha, but also for the home he was leaving. His new family understands the Murray way of life and is well placed to provide the structure, supervision, and companionship he needs to thrive.
We also want to share that Nigel, a 17-week-old pup, is still looking for his new family. Nigel is at a different stage and does not have the same urgency around rehoming. We will be taking the time needed to ensure the right match for him—one that supports his development, energy, and growing curiosity about the world.
Thank you again for the respect, patience, and care shown throughout. Knowing there is such a strong, compassionate community around these dogs makes navigating change far less heavy.
