Proprieter Sarah Lowe started Animal Mad Dog Grooming in 2007 and since then has quickly become a leader in her field. Holding Certificate in First Aid and Certificate IV in Pet Services (specializing in Pet Grooming), Sarah also competes in grooming contests around Australia winning many awards. Animal Mad Dog Grooming sponsors local clubs, charities and animal welfare organisations. Our highly trained and experienced team offer that personal touch- because not every dog is the same! We welcome your input how you would like the finished product to look and strive to get the closest result (where possible). Our four legged clients have the opportunity to play with other sociable animals during their experience, or can be isolated in their own spacious holding pens, at owners request. No matter how you like your dog to be styled, our capable team is more than happy to help with hand stripping, sc******ng or clipping! We use warm air dryers, fresh water (not recycled) and also carry out ear cleaning and nail clipping. We offer creative styling and colouring (for which we have won an awards for) as well as accessories such as feathers, bows, bow ties and bandannas. Every dog gets a spritz of cologne before leaving ensuring your dog leaves happy after a full spa experience. Groomers Sarah & Clare both have won multiple awards for their grooming including Best in Show at Adelaide Royal and multiple Best in Groups. Clare & Sarah both have lots of experience in the world of purebred dogs with both girls breeding & owning show dogs. They know the correct trim for your purebred dogs! 1-5 week dogs you should all now be in for 2026, if you want your dates please just ask and we will send them. Next up is our 6-9 week dogs then last of all are our 10-12 weeks (anything longer than that you will need to book yourselves).

FRIDAY is our most popular day so 6 week dogs you may not get exactly 6 weeks for ever appointment unless you change days.

We will soon be working on 2026 bookings due to popular demand..

Due to increasing costs, PRICES WILL GO UP $5-$10 on all services as of January 1st (short/shave clips will go up $5, longer clips go up $10).

VIPs (dogs in 1-4 weekly) you all stay as you are as you have all had an increase in the last 12months

If you are wanting to stay on the same schedule we will do this automatically (VIPs are booked first). If you are wanting to change your schedule please let us know.

Puppies and grooming…

The critical age for puppies first groom is between 3-4 months of age for a tidy up and 5-6 months for a full groom.

Most breeders will have started your puppies grooming from 4-5 weeks of age so it’s super important to follow that up.

As of July we are introducing our perfect puppy program which gives very discounted grooming every 2 weeks for puppies who start their grooming at 3-4 months. This ensures by 6 months your puppy is an absolute pro and grooming and in future enjoys the process without stress.
