We all know trials are so important, for the bride to get an idea of what they want, and for the stylist to know what hair they're working with.
It doesn't matter how great the stylist, if the hair is not suited for the style, it may not turn out as planned.
Both my beautiful bride and I agreed we needed more volume and hold.
Her hair did not last, as she walked out my salon door, it was basically straight.
Her hair was all one length, thick, but very heavy.
We both loved the style, but changes needed to be made to make it work.
Here are the changes:
- I cut some length off and added layers throughout, including face framing.
- We added lots of clip in hair extensions. It added hold and more layers throughout the style.
- I alternated the curls so they sat on top of each other, rather than melt together.
- I mixed flat wrap and twisted curl for added texture.
- I treated each curl with magic dust and get styling for extra hold.
- I took my time on the wedding day. I had a lot of hair to work through and I didn't rush.
