🚨Important Announcement: HomeSafe ID Closure 🚨

What does this mean for you?

If your pet’s microchip is registered with HomeSafe ID, the database is no longer accessible and therefore we will not be able to access your information to reunite you if your pet becomes lost.

What can you do?

Step 1: Obtain your pet’s microchip. If you don’t have your pet’s microchip then contact us. If we don’t have your pet’s microchip on record then we will need you to bring your pet in to scan their microchip.

Step 2: Follow the prompts on this link to Central Animal Records to search your pet’s microchip details. https://car.com.au

Step 3: If your pet’s microchip is not displayed on Central Animal Records then follow the prompts on the Australasia Pet Registry website.
https://www.aar.org.au

If your pet’s microchip is displayed on either of these websites then no further action is required. ‼️

Step 5: If your pet’s microchip is not displayed on either of these sites then please contact us or follow the instructions to re-register your pet’s microchip number with Central Animal Records or Australasia Pet Registry.

A huge round of applause for Charli and Jess, who have officially completed their Bachelor’s in Veterinary Nursing! We are so incredibly proud of all their hard work, dedication and passion for animal care. They’ve both worked tirelessly to reach this milestone, and we are thrilled to see them grow in their roles at the clinic!

If you have had the pleasure of getting to know both Jess and Charli during their time in the clinic then you will know how dedicated and compassionate they are to our pets and this has made them an invaluable part of the team here at MEVCAH.
