It is with a very heavy heart that I announce I will be closing down Hey Pup.
During the beginning of the lockdown in 2020, my work hours were reduced, and I was at a very low point in my life. Hey Pup was something I channeled my energy into to distract myself and gave me a new sense of purpose.
A lot has changed in the past couple of years. I started taking my health seriously and focused on getting better mentally and physically.
Although it may sound like an excuse, focusing on my health and starting a new job really took all my energy. I have realised that I am not someone who can work full time, have a side hustle, go to the gym four times a week, get enough sleep every night, and have a social life and remain sane. Juggling a full-time job and a business is hard work, and I have so much respect for anyone who is able to do it.
I absolutely love the community of animal lovers I was able to connect with. Seeing all of your beautiful fur babies wearing my bandanas truly brought me so much joy. Selling at markets and meeting you guys in real life was so surreal. I am beyond proud of what I was able to achieve with my business since opening in September 2020, but it’s time to say goodbye.
As of today, I will be dropping the price of all bandanas to $5 and will keep the store open until April 12th, 2024.
