Today we say goodbye to Charlee as she ventures to the other side of the city!

What a pleasure it has been to watch you grow and succeed as a groomer! We are so privileged to have had you on the team for the last 3 and a half years, and we thank you for all of your hard work and passion pampering our k9 customers.

We will all miss you terribly, but I’m sure we will see you again in the ring, but this time as a rival 😉 😉

Super proud of Jacqie judging her first competition! What an amazing achievement for you!
We are so proud of you!!

Our 2nd judge for this competition is

Jacqie Giggins!

Jacqie will be judging all levels

Jacqie has been grooming for over 10 years, working in both corporate and private salons before opening her own home salon, Pet-a-Dog Grooming, in 2020.
She started competing in 2018 with her black and tan Cavalier and has since competed with a variety of breeds including Cavaliers, Springer Spaniels, American Cockers, Poodles, and Lowchen, in the Poodle, APOB, Gundog, asian fusion and Dual Duel classes.
In 2023, Jacqie proudly won her first Best in Show with her Cavalier and has earned multiple Best in Group awards across Gundog and AOPB classes in that time.
Alongside grooming, Jacqie shows her Cavaliers and American Cockers in conformation, earning awards such as NIS, NISS, RUNIS, RUNISS, BIG, RUIG, Classes in group/show and earned championship titles on all 4 of her dogs and a Neuter Grand Championship while gaining a strong understanding of canine structure, handling and presentation.

Jacqie is passionate about creating a positive, inclusive grooming industry and loves supporting fellow groomers through education, mentorship and other projects.

She’s excited to be on the other side of the table and can’t wait to see the amazing talent stepping into the ring.

We’re in need of an aircon clean & sanitise! Our current aircon servicer unfortunately had to abruptly close business and he has been wonderful over the years. But as you can imagine with all our big hairy customers things get a bit messy for our little air conditioner 😂

If you may know someone, or you are yourself a person that could help us please shout out! We’re getting pretty desperate and have already been let down by an aircon servicing company.. 🫠

The team had a great time at the final RSPCA Million Paws Walk 2025 on Sunday.

6 groomers, 10 dogs, 4kms walk to raise funds against animal cruelty!

To make sure we're charging fairly for all our services, we'll be weighing every dog when they come in with our new scales. This helps us get things just right!

Our sizing is defined but weight, height or overall how long it takes us to complete the groom which takes in factors of behaviour, coat condition or extra styling requests! The longer it takes us the more it costs us so we need to charge accordingly 🐾

I’m thinking Texas might need to start eating some more schmackos if he weighs 0.0kg 🤔 😂
