We’ve just finished refurbishing this beautiful handmade timber unit and absolutely love how it turned out!

This piece took quite some time to complete due to the many different timbers used throughout the build, but the end result was well worth the effort. We carefully sanded it back to reveal all the gorgeous natural grain and character hidden underneath.

To finish it off, we replaced the handle with a gorgeous distinctive feature piece that perfectly complements the charm and individuality of the table. 🤍

A truly one-of-a-kind piece that would look stunning in an entryway, hallway, bedroom or cosy nook.

Bedsides refurbished for our granddaughter ❤️ bedroom

What a transformation ✨

This little bedside table has had a complete refresh and we absolutely love how it turned out.

We carefully sanded the entire piece right back to reveal the beautiful natural timber grain and textures hidden underneath. The old handles were replaced with new brass hardware to give it a fresh yet timeless look, while still keeping its character and charm.

To finish, we used a Liming White stain varnish which softened the timber beautifully and gave it that light coastal feel 🤍

As many of you know, Ernie’s has been on the move… and what a move it was! Moving nearly 13 years of not just our family belongings, but two well-established businesses was beyond crazy 🤪—especially while I (Ali) was recovering from surgery!

We’re so happy to say we are finally settled into our new home & workshop in Wadalba 🏡

While we’ll still be refurbishing furniture, it may look a little different from the “old days.” We’re both getting older, still working full-time, and soaking up precious time with our grandchildren 💛
