Ernie’s furniture is handcrafted using reclaimed timber. We also like to take old tired pieces of furniture and give a new modern lease of life. Our timber Dogs beds/Lounges and dog feeders are uniquely and lovingly made & finished in food based oils. Ernie’s furniture is made to order and different finishes are available on request. Delivery Cost on the Central Coast NSW can be available at time of order.

🌿 Before & After — A Hall Table Reborn

This stunning hall table was once buried beneath layers of dark stain and thick varnish — her natural beauty completely hidden. The transformation took time (especially those detailed legs!), but every bit of sanding was worth it.
Now she stands in her full glory — soft, warm timber tones, elegant curves, and a whole lot of charm. A perfect addition to any hallway or living space that needs a gentle, natural touch.

This custom refurbishment was a true labour of love! 😮‍💨

Our lovely customer originally planned to restore this gorgeous cabinet and side table herself, but due to back issues, she asked us to take over the project.

What we thought would be a straightforward job turned into a much bigger task! Both pieces were covered in thick white chalk paint — especially tricky to remove from all those detailed spindles. The top of the cabinet also had water damage that took time and care to repair.

After a lot of patience and persistence, we’re thrilled with the final result — and so is our customer! 🥰

Before & After – What a Difference!

Check out this side-by-side transformation of two gorgeous Flinders timber bedside cabinets.

The cabinet on the left is how they both started – dark, heavy, and in need of a freshen up. With a bit of love (and a lot of sanding!), we stripped them right back to reveal the beautiful natural grain. Finished in a liming white stain & varnish, the cabinet on the right now has a soft, coastal charm that feels fresh and modern.

Perfect for adding character to any bedroom space.

This beautifully restored bench seat has been loving restored after arriving in damaged condition, its last owners 🐶 dog decided it would be a rather nice chewing toy 😂. It now offers both style and functionality, featuring ample storage space suitable for any area of the home.
