Want a unique birthday party theme ? Puppies and pools 🤪
We are very lucky to have a never ending supply of kids (and adults) who are only to happy to help with puppy socialisation and exposure.
This afternoon the pups were the key attraction in our nieces 10th birthday party - not sure who e joyed it more, the kids or the puppies !

🐾 Socialisation for Puppies 🐾

Socialisation is one of the most important parts of raising a confident, well-adjusted dog.

✨ Positive, controlled experiences help puppies learn that the world is safe.
🐶 Today the pups visited school with my boys, and then spent the afternoon with their Nanna, Pip.

We carefully introduce puppies to new sounds, surfaces, people, and gentle handling. This needs to be very carefully balanced with introductions to the right kind of dog - you need someone who is kind, patient and willing to put up with non stop puppy energy. Pip is sometimes a little cranky when the youngsters get a bit much, so we are always around to make sure we give her space when she has had enough.
Like most Nannas, she is always up for a cuddle !

🐾 First milk session
The pups tried drinking milk for the first time today. A bit messy, very determined, and definitely getting the hang of it. 🥛💛
As we look to round out week four these guys will have some BIG changes coming their way - time outside, exposure to new people, places and things, a ‘grown up’ night time routine and first interactions with other dogs 🐶

When you are exhausted from doing absolutely nothing

Being three weeks old is exhausting !
The puppies have officially reached three weeks, and they’ve packed a lot of growing in.
Here’s what they’re up to now:
🐶 Eyes wide open and taking in the world
👂 Ears switched on — they’re starting to respond to voices and noises
🚶‍♂️ Wobbly walking has begun in earnest (with the occasional tumble!)
🤝 First social interactions — little play-bites, gentle boops, and climbing all over each other
🍼 Stronger feeding routine and longer stretches of awake time
😴 Deep, cosy sleeps with lots of twitching, dreaming, and puppy squeaks
💛 Personalities emerging

Pebbles is doing an amazing job, and the pups are becoming more curious and confident every day.
It’s a special stage — the perfect mix of tiny, cuddly babies and the first sparks of who they’re going to become 🐾✨
