Hi there, if you see a baby magpie on the ground, please don't kidnap it! We have a number of baby magpies in the centre at the moment.
Baby maggies on the ground may not be sick or have fallen out of their nest. Once they get to a certain size, mum and dad plonk them on the ground and keep an eye on them for the day, coming back to feed them regularly. If you take them, you really upset their parents who think they have lost their child
